Just buffoonery, or something worse?

He failed to make quality PPE available to people who needed it. He undermined efforts by state governors to promote social distancing by encouraging violations of state orders. He dismissed the seriousness of those early covid variants when we didn't have effective treatments or vaccines. He promoted unsafe and ineffective treatments. He showed, time and again, he didn't make the effort to understand the nature of the virus and how it was impacting millions of Americans. He held gatherings at the White House.

    He failed and Americans noticed.

I think it's fair to say, he probably would be President today, likely with control of both the Senate and House, if he hadn't so miserably failed.

That's all bullshit propaganda from the democrats malicious attack on everything Trump. Trump would be President today if Covid had not given them that opportunity. Trump was pushing for speedy development and distribution of a vaccine when Biden was still saying he wouldn't trust it. Nobody fought harder than Trump.

I notice you didn't discuss the points I raised.
Yep. Trump managed to get by for three years without a crisis. When one came up, he blew it.
Biden wasn't being scrutinized, Trump was. Old Joe had his turn and blew it when he declared the pandemic over in 2021. It wasn't and still isn't.
The American people saw his failure and voted him out.

I told you what I thought of your propaganda rehash.
It wasn't failure to take measures it was the shitstorm of negative media reporting that cost the election. Find one good report about Trump not on FOX during that time

    So what?
Good grief--Trump was a failure by almost any thoughtful analysis. The media should have ripped him to shreds and it didn't. They don't rip idiot Democrats, either.

Having played the media game personally... the reason the media don't rip the idiots is they're want the free "news" they get from these jokers. If you cross them, they cut you off. No interviews.

There's more research on YouTube, fer crissake. Most people have no clue how the economy works and would do well to know more.
Find something he did that was outstanding? The one thing he tries to take credit for is the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. They already had it formulated before the Orange Oaf said he wanted to speed up approval. Well, it was tested, approved and administered overseas first. There's no way any pol would have dared to deny Americans the vaccine, so getting faster approval than usual was a fait accompli.

Democrats demagogued the vaccine approval process. They didn't really think the vaccines would be approved if they were unsafe. Fear mongering. Just like the guys who say the annoying surgical mask will make you sick. It might piss you off, but that's not the same thing.

You won't accept anything I list, you'll just keep regurgitating that crap the DNC put out Trump had a sane energy policy that flooded the market and drove the price of oil so low it was painful to SA and Russia. He took action to put some control on the border and it was showing an effect. The parades of thousands of migrants were slowed by putting pressure on Mexico to stop the flow across their country and he was building a wall on our side, He put in place that immigrants seek asylum in one of the first countries they cross or apply for asylum and remain in Mexico while it is processed.

One way to see when he got something right would be to review the headlines on your favorite news source. Big **** storm? Trump got it right, it's that easy

You figure the stuff in blue above are Democratic Party talking points?

    Depends upon what you list.
He exploited a situation to drive prices so low there was too little capital investment in the industry.
He didn't solve the problem because he never went after employers. Half of illegals overstayed a visa. We let them through the front door and then stopped paying much attention.
There's nothing special in what he did. What is special is the Democrats failing to see we have a problem.
What is it you think he did right? He never went after employers hiring illegals. He doubled the budget deficit before covid. He never challenged Putin over his illegal occupation of the Crimea. He tried going it alone against China and got nowhere. He hasn't implemented school vouchers effectively. (The feds have the money, so they could run pilots in various states.) He didn't fix Obamacare, just unwisely tried to blow it up. He made this problem worse by giving 85% of the 2017 personal income tax cut to people making $400,000 per year.

Economic growth in Trump's first three years was about the same as Obama's last three.
