What are you rambling about? It’s almost like you are talking to yourself in a post. Weird.

We have to get the economy back on track or tens of millions will be devastated. You have to reopen the economy to do that. Remain frozen with fear, nobody cares. Stop telling other they must, you do not have that right. You can do it of course, they are just going to tell you to ****. People will save their economic livelihoods, as they should.

 

They need to protect themselves, their responsibility not mine.

If they do not want to venture out they don’t have too. I’m not asking anyone to do a thing they don’t want too, I’m not going to adhere to someone asking me to do something I don’t want too. See how that works.

1. Simply a stupid position to take. Knowing I could have it and going out into public means I'm intentionally spreading it.....That is like saying you drive to work and cause a wreck you intentionally did it because you knew it was a possibility. The liberal mind...it just does not work well....

2. I'm not personal responsible to take measure others deem I should. What a silly thing to think much less post. I deem that you should social distance 12 feet to be extra safe, now do it or you are being irresponsible....

3. I've not played in weeks, I have worked 40 day in a row, including today. I've not missed a penny of income. I'm not whining for me, but for the people who are in economic trouble because they can not work.

4. Yes my country America is waking up and reopening. Waking up from the fear mongering of "2 million dead and bodies in the streets!" which was BS from day 1. Hell at least that fool who came up with that model out of the UK admitted he fudged the numbers upwards.

Stay home, for a day, a month or a year. Nobody cares.

But others are not, rather you expect them to or not. The difference in ideology is easy to point out....your ideology expects others to do what you think they should, my ideology expects no one to do anything they do not want to do.

Well yes but technically no. What I'm interested in is why do you think that argument matters, and more importantly why are you fear mongering about the 'other side'? There's no reason for it. Nobody is going to change their opinion of it, especially when the language used is priming an audience.

I am fine with no one changing their mind, I would not know if they did anyways. But I for one am not going to sit here and read the silly ideology of the left and let it go unopposed in at least a minor way.

This isn’t ideology. This is science. Do you see the words you’re using? See all your insults for the “left and how evil they are for shutting down the economy”? That’s priming. The question is priming for what and why?

 

The shutdown of the economy was not "science" it was fear.

It is indeed a ideology, one of basing a political decisions on feelings and not logic.

The left are fools for supporting the ongoing shutdown of the economy out of fear and conjecture of what "may happen" vs what we know is not conjecture, the devastation of the economy. That is why I am calling them fools, it's not priming anything.

If so, the answer should be obvious - so that you don't BECOME like that 11%. It's prevention.

 

1) no, it isn't. a highly contagious virus is nothing like a car accident. terrible analogy.

2) you are responsible to your country. or maybe you're not? maybe you don't care about America getting back to the way she was three months ago? maybe you want to usher in a new normal? that's okay .. plenty do.

3) 'economic trouble' would be a blessing if that's the worst that happened to you in a bad pandemic. especially when it doesn't even equate to hunger (remember America is rated food secure .. no starvation possible unless your leaders botch that, too).

4) waking up? looks more like deep denial to those watching.

 

Did you know people on the right tend to have more responsive threat perceptions? And that you can trigger it by using language designed to make people think in terms of in group and out group? All you have to do is label the out group as a threat and people on the right are more likely to believe it.
