I would argue that the freedom to obtain an abortion, within reasonable limits, is an extension of the right to self-proprietorship - a right that Harris and the rest of her hypocritical cohorts in the Biden Administration have had no compunction violating themselves - which has been explicitly recognized by the SCOTUS and is implicitly recognized throughout the Constitution.

 

Kamala Harris' point that abortions are a constitutional right is on point, considering that it was a legal right set by the courts until a partisan group of Trump-appointed judges broke their vows to end Roe-v-Wade in a MAGA revolt.

Now, abortion rights can be set by whichever side has the luck of packing the courts next. And by extension, Constitutional interpretation has become a partisan game.

Democrats won't make a federal law to legalize abortion because it's an issue they can use to rally their voters at election time. And, we'll likely have a split government for years to come giving it the illusion of being unpassable. It's a game.
