Second that was immediately after her testimony, without benefit of rebuttal or investigation. Third as noted he then mocked her testimony after the holes and unsupported claims were fully exposed.

Do I need to remind you the Kavanaugh hearing even before the Dems engaged in their vile baseless accusations?

 

It's a dick move to look at a judges sentencing history and ask her about it? It's at dick move to call her out on lying about knowing that critical trace theory means when what she means when she talks about it in a speech?

A judge handles challenges to their credibility and requests to clarify what they means by not answering questions? Wow. Your partisanship far outweighs any modicum of critical thinking, if that's what you really believe.

He was asking the same questions that were ask of Judge Barrett, except in a MUCH more polite manner, and AGREEING with her that her faith should not matter just as it should not have when the Dem attacked her for her faith claiming should could not be a fair judge because of it. Let's hope the next time a Rep President nominates someone the Dems behave as the Reps have here it would be an EXPONENTAL IMPROVEMENT IN DIGNITY AND BEHAVIOR.

And I would note that I simply discount her claims she did not watch the Kavanaugh hearings or knew of the treatment he received. She seemed ignorant of quite a few things I would expect someone at the top of the legal field to know full well.

It's a dick move when you ask questions and constantly interrupt so they can't be answered. It's a dick move to ask question, finally let the person answer, the person answers putting the question in the proper context and when that's done simply say "I disagree" or be like the other dick and walk out like a child.
This has nothing to do with partisanship when the questions about CRT aren't relevant (because it's a made up issue simply for the election and will magically vanish in November).

 

I actually read a research paper on this kind of topic, and what she articulated(poorly) is that it isn't always purely a sexual motivation(although all motives are impure and disgusting.) So for example, one could be a drug lynchpin and not actually be into drugs themselves. As the example of the Lolita Express, we know that the dude was more interested in using it as blackmailing other influential people then he was for his own predatory practices.

I have no context for her statement, but I will say that the statement is meaningless though because regardless of whether a possessor is financially or sexually or any kind of way motivated, it is and still should be illegal.

 

She certainly doesn't seem that bright. Maybe it is just extreme caution, but when you compare her hearing with Amy Coney Barrett's she seems very slow. Coney Barrett's razor sharp, but unfortunately white.
