List the reasons we should bring muslim "refugees" to the US

    No it's not Christian intolerance, racism, and general hatred of Muslims. It's for the security of our country. If it's that easy for them to get in then it's time to make it harder. You trust them that much...fine then go live with them. Be careful.

    I prefer the bombastic approach. All those Muslim babies will grow up to be would-be Muslim tyrants. That is what it means to be Muslim. That is what they teach in the mosques while making smiley faces at us infidels.

    The children are worse than the parents.

    It shows a lack of compassion for the people of this country. You're putting them in harms way and you're going to argue that's compassion? Sure buddy.

    Moral responsibility? The government has a moral responsibility to ensure the safety of people in this country first and foremost and accepting refugees goes against that.

    Trustworthiness? NOTHING says we can trust them.

    Nothing about accepting refugees significantly increases any risk for US citizens and the vast majority of refugees pose no threat of any kind. Anyway, this is about our compassion of accepting some costs and risks for ourselves to significantly help others.

    The government is the people. You know, all those Americans people who like to claim to be good Christian folk (and expect to be treated as such when it's to their benefit). Their moral responsibility.

    Our nations have signed treaties and other agreements that include accepting refugees in times of need. Going back on those demonstrates how much others can trust us.

    We certainly could flatly refuse to accept any refugees but I don't see how that makes us any better than the kind of people you imagine that would keep out.

    We should not admit anyone unless the person is clearly beneficial to the USA. This means educated, not impoverished, will not go on welfare or government benefits, will swear allegiance to the USA and for respect of the Constitution and Bill Of Rights, and disavow allegiance to any other country.

    You even admit that some potentially do pose a threat. But sure, lets bring them in anyway. Nice of you to display your lack of compassion for this country and it's citizens.

    You wouldn't help your next door neighbor if it hurt your family. Stop with this garbage, you have no leg to stand on. The government was elected by the people to SERVE the people and look out for their best interests. It's detrimental in a number of ways to bring in thousands upon thousands of refugees.

    I was unaware those treaties specified that refugees must be accepted even if it puts your nations citizens at risk.

    Let's see, they blow us up because we have different beliefs, throw us off buildings, behead us, burn us to death....sure, we're just like them.

    Because we're Americans and not some religiously intolerant bigoted racist White (WASP) Supremacist (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) that opposes the American political ideology.

    When we deny the victim of Islamic tyranny and terrorism, regardless of their religious beliefs, their Liberty of refuge in the United States so that we can purchase a little temporary safety then we deserve neither our own Liberty or our own safety.

    So as Americans that believe in the Right of Liberty for all People we are willing to take those kinds of risks because it's inherent in our belief in the ideology upon which America was founded.

    But I should only speak for myself. I believe in the Right of Liberty for all People, including those Muslims that have been oppressed by the tyranny of radical Islamic groups, and I will not give up my belief in the Liberty of all People just to secure a little temporary safety based upon a remote threat of some future hypothetical event.

    Others may choose to be religiously intolerant bigoted racist White (WASP) Supremacist (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s that oppose the Liberty of all People and are willing sacrifice the Liberty of others for their own temporary Safety and, as Benjamin Franklin stated, they deserve neither.

    PS Years ago Osama bin Laden, that we can probably all agree was a radical Islamic militant, once said that if American actually followed the ideology that America was founded upon where "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" in both our domestic relations with each other and in our foreign affairs then there would never be an Islamic threat against America. It is because we, the American people and our government, don't live based upon that "self-evident" truth in either our domestic relations with each other and our foreign affairs with other countries that there is an Islamic threat against America today.

    But yet we will have both. We protect both our liberty and safety by denying entry to those who would destroy both given the chance. How is my liberty impaired by keeping Muslims out?

    Well, Ben Franklin was talking about people giving up their own liberty, not sacrificing the liberty of others.

    What would Bin Laden know about liberty and all that? Is he the sort of person you want to secure the blessings of liberty for?

    Well, I am going to use my liberty to oppose your position. The US ought not to be in the business of securing liberty for non-citizens. It is just that sort of nonsense which got us in trouble in the first place, trying to secure the blessings of liberty for the Iraqis and Libyans.

    And it definitely should not be in the business of securing liberty for those who intend to destroy our liberty.

    There's absolutely no evidence that the victims of Islamic tyranny are seeking refugee immigration status to relocate to the United States for any criminal purpose and the US government is taking extensive pragmatic steps to ensure that they're not trying to relocate to the United States for anything other than peaceful purposes.

    The Right of Liberty for all persons is diminished by the denial of the Right of Liberty to any person. Effectively by denying the right of expatriation (the right of a person to immigrate from one's native country of birth to their country of choice that Thomas Jefferson claimed to be a natural right of all people based upon the Right of Liberty) you're violating the Right of Liberty for all people, including yourself, based upon a desire for your own temporary personal Safety.

    Once again the Right of Liberty is a natural right that applies to all people regardless of race, religion, ethnic background, or national origin. It doesn't just apply to the American citizen where we can deny it to others. If we deny the Right of Liberty to anyone anywhere in the world then effectively it's also a denial of our own Right of Liberty.

    Failure to understanding this fact is a primary reason why American White Supremacists/White Nationalists are never able to really call themselves Americans because they don't believe in the ideology of the Natural Rights of the Person that apply to all people universally.

    As far as the American White Supremacists/White Nationalists are apparently concerned they believe they have a Right to Violate the Natural Rights of Others for their own personal gain but a Natural Right to violate the Natural Rights of any other person does not exist. Sorry but none of us have the Natural Right to violate the Natural Right of Liberty of those seeking political asylum in the United States to escape the tyranny of radical Islam in their native country. They have the same right to live in the United States as any natural born American citizen based upon the Natural Rights of the Person that are not related to governments or nations.

    Everyone has the Right of Liberty and giving up (or violating) the Liberty of any person for temporary safety negates any right to either for those that would violate the Natural Rights of the Person. It's obvious that some people just don't understand the Natural Rights of the Person that apply to very single person on the planet and that no one has a Right to Violate the Rights of any other person.
