The phrase "not unlimited" simply means the scope of the second amendment is nearly unlimited in its nature. That is how the language of your country works. As a citizen of the united states, you are devoid of a legitimate reason for not understanding such.

The simple fact is the united state supreme court would not have gone out of its way to specify what the second amendment did not do, unless it was indeed a right to keep and carry at least some weapons, in at least some manner, for at least some purposes.
