Unless "plausible" is defined as "believable to the gullible", there has never been any OTHER time.

Tell me, how *do* you use your god to explain the existence of humanity?

And please, have in mind that you said explanation, - not declaration.

Wrong question. What you should be asking yourself is how human beings can be the product of evolution from simians when the leap from the latter to the former is of greater magnitude by far than the transition from single celled organisms to simians.

Its called 3.8 billion years of Evolution. That’s a fairly long time for live to evolve.

Its also called the laws of probability. Given any non-human imaginary event (like a god) enough chances and that event will occur. This planet may be the only planet in this Galaxy to harbor life intelligent enough to transport its specie from one body in this galaxy to another. OR it may not be. But given the fact that Milky Way has billions of stars with billions of planets. Even if 1% of all planets are capable or sustaining life, with 2 billion planets that means there are 20 million planets in this galaxy alone capable of sustaining life.

Now we have 1.9 million known living species on this planet. That doesn't include the 99% of species that is now extinct. Even if Evolution has a 1 in a 10 billion chance of producing a species with intelligence to the point where that species can fly from one body to another, if it didn’t happen on this planet, there are 20 million other planets in this galaxy and its bound to happen on at-least one. Remember, there are 1.9 million KNOWN species and that does not count the 99% of all species that have gone extinct

Now these numbers are somewhat made up. However, the Milky way does have billions of stars. We are finding more and more planets each year. So saying the galaxy has billions of planets is more than reasonable. Saying only 1% of those are capable of harboring life is more than reasonable. And based on the fact that we are the only species capable of flying from one body to another, 1 in a 10 billion is not unreasonable.

But beyond that, this is more of an exercise to try and get you to think past what you see here and now. Its an exercise in probabilities and if given enough chances, whatever event YOU deem as unlikely, can and does happen.

    This couple beat the odds:

Double lottery winners beat odds of 1 in 24,000,000,000,000 / Belmont couple spends $124,000 -- $20 a day for 17 years -- then hits jackpot twice in one day

1 in 24 trillion may seem like a lot, but with millions pouring billion in the lottery for years, this was bound to happen. A.K.A any event, no matter the odds, will happen if given enough chances.

PS: Human Chromosome 2 is proof that we are part of the Great Ape Family.

I read the article and found it purposely misleading. The man said that he did it because he heard voices. Not because he was remembering scripture.

Yet...the reporter made it a point to add that scripture to create something not real.

Very blatant act of opportunity on the reporter's part..

Yeah, I get it. You worship at the altar of Omnipotent Idiocy, so nothing means more to you than avalanches of stupefying, conscience-deadening minutiae.

That would be an absurdly charitable assessment of your contributions.

What you accept from the unreasonable facsimile of yours truly that you have obviously constructed in your imagination is no concern of mine.

Once again, instead of actually refuting anything in Post #79, you would rather attack me personally. That is a omission that you cannot refute anything.

Hence I will accept your white flag.

Silly deflection. Since you assert that your god is an explanation for the existence of humanity, the question I asked is of course accurate.

How do you explain the existence of humanity with your god?

Not at all. The only way I can educate you, assuming you are educable, is by adapting my responses to your self-imposed intellectual limitations.
You're not ready for such an explanation, at least until such time as you demonstrate at least a rudimentary understanding of what differentiates humans from animals.

I'm not even religious, and, I know that that piece of scripture is a metaphor for removing anything that causes negative behavior from your life...

Yguy, if you want to educate me then educate me on how you explain the existence of humanity with your god.

Oh of course. Not ready for this alleged explanation of yours. Got it.

Not possible before you demonstrate the prerequisite understanding of humanity. <shrug>

    What the....

So you cannot fathom that a Christian doesn't break God's law? Ran out of smart pills did you?

Does a law abiding citizen break laws? Can you understand that? Wrap your couple braincells around and hold on... Now, a Christian is one who doens't break Christian law - so would a Christian be in jail?

If you think so - then you think law abiding citizens break laws...

So you see? Do you understand now? I can dumb it down further if you want, but I am in hopes you do understand!!!

Since god is in people imaginations, it is up to the individual to assess whether or not 'god's law' was broken. Do you understand that? Can you wrap your braincells around this genius?

Sure, according to any definition which takes no account of the fundamental difference between humans and animals. So what?

I'm just pointing out that humans are a subgroup of the kingdom Animalia, which, by definition, makes us technically animals...

It doesn't say that different groups of animals can't be capable of more or less rational thought...

Actually I am part of the Great Ape Family which consists of Chimpanzees, Orangutangs, Gorillas and Humans.

So if you are not part of the Great Ape Family (which is part of the animal kingdom), which kingdom are you in?

The Monera Kingdom? Are you part of the simplest life forms on Earth?
The Protista Kingdom? Are you just a single-celled organism?
The Fungi Kingdom? Are you a fungus?
The Plantae Kingdom? Are you a plant? Do you need watering daily?

Tell me, which kingdom are you part of....and if you want to say the 'kingdom of god', sorry that isnt a choice.
