A lot of folks are high on Wichita State (ex., Seth Davis), but it's a tough road through Indiana and Kentucky. VCU's going to be a scary team in two years, but we're just too young and inconsistent on offense right now...
Yeah. Kinda makes you wonder why Kentucky didn't wind up in the Midwest instead of the Tarholes, of all people. Evidently, geography isn't one of the selection committee's strengths... Gotta run - enjoy the games tonight...
MVSU has a 16 point lead with what, 5 minutes left, & loses?! Iona has a 25 point lead & scores 17 points in the last 24 minutes of the game (& loses of course)?! PS guys: The game is 40 minutes long! Here's hoping the whole tournament is like this(with more than a few of the teams I want to win doing the comebacks)!!!
I bet Kansas is glad he didn't pick 'em this year. I'm playing two brackets in a pool, one being a hedge bracket - right now my Final Fours are all over the place: Primary: Kentucky Michigan State Ohio State Kansas - MSU over OSU in the final Hedge: Kentucky Michigan State Florida State UNC - Kentucky over UNC in the final I'm tempted to take Michigan as the Midwest champ in one of these brackets but I haven't been able to pull the trigger yet...
Man, did MVSU faceplant in that game - that stretch at the end where they kept turning the ball over was ridiculous. America's most curious mascot lives to cheer another day... All that talk about Iona being the next Cinderella sure didn't last long...
VCU's in the Midwest and we're playing our first game in Portland. ARGH!!! Needless to say, there's a lot of unhappy campers in Ram Country - 3000 miles is a bit far to drive. We sent the guys off yesterday so they'd be over the jet lag by tomorrow night... GO RAMS!!!
