I didn't have Syracuse going deep, but out in the first round would be a bit of a shock.... You never know in these tournaments, your Rams made quite a run last year. Mizzou has a tendency to fizzle out early, but hopefully they'll at least make the elite 8. Regarding Wisconsin. I work with a guy who went to Iowa, he and his other Big 10 buddies went to the Big 10 conference tournament in Indianapolis. I asked him about Wisconsin and he said they are nowhere near the level of OSU and Michigan State...wasn't impressed by them at all. I still think Vanderbilt is the sleeper, but you never know with these games.
Sure would. They'll probably blow UNCA out in the second half. We've seen this thing with 1-16 match-ups before... I like the Tigers this year - I think they're a cinch for the Elite Eight. If they get hot there's no telling how far they'll go...

That's the depressing thing about Mizzou basketball - they get beat so early! They'll be a high-ranked team, and get their asses handed to them by some small Division I school most of us have never heard of! I like David and Goliath stories - I'm just tired of seeing Mizzou play the role of Goliath!
Wisconsin demolished Montana...and Vandy advances, should be a good game. VCU looking good so far, though I picked them to lose.
Quite a dearth of upsets. UNLV's demolition of N.C. must seem like a very distant memory, but no quite the "another lifetime" feeling that UCONN probably has of winning their championship last year. Talon, what the heck is in the water that the Rams are drinking? Kudos to the Buffs! Now go beat the Bears! Hopefully some buzzer beaters today.
Vitamin Lockdown D. We don't have anything close to the offensive firepower we had last year, but this year's squad might be playing even better defense (last night was the first time Wichita State didn't reach 60 points). We've been hanging our hat on that all year. I just hope we can play a little better on offense against Indiana - we were a bit off our game last night...
