Might have something to do with that lack of "out west" coverage that Herk was talking about... Now, I personally feel that they should spread the coverage, though my team is in the South, and, we get PLENTY of coverage anyway, but, alot of these West teams end up being a surprise to the rest of the NCAA, because they get little to no coverage during the season... But, be that as it may, there's not a lot of quality teams in the West, as of late, esp. not of the caliber of a Duke, or Syracuse, or Michigan State... That also is a factor...

I would think that the lack of quality teams west of the Rockies has a lot to do with the lack of coverage - most of the buzz surrounds smaller schools like LBSU and SDSU instead of the big blue bloods (UCLA, Arizona, et al) in the Pac-12. I guess this tries to explain things: Whatever. It's not like other conferences haven't had a bunch of one-and-doners pass through their programs on the way to the NBA. You see it happen in the ACC and the SEC all the time. I don't get it...

West Region No. 14 Iona vs. No. 14 BYU, 9:10 p.m. Eastern (truTV) I'm looking forward to watching Iona play. From what I've heard they can light up the scoreboard - BYU could be in for a pummeling...

Since I really don't like picking brackets, or even individual games, I'll pick who I'm rooting for. Tonight I'm rooting for Miss.Vall. & Iona. My Final 4 is a combo of who I'd like & who I think: Ky.(to win it all), Missouri, Ohio St. & probably N.C., but I'd really love to see St.Mary come out of that bracket(or anybody besides N.C. for that matter).
