I hope McCain switches parties. He's an ass. The GOP is as close to becoming more conservative and winning more elections now than it has ever been. I really hope McCain switches parties, rather than Lee, Cruz, Paul and Rubio leaving the GOP.
Basically, all you're saying is Democrats are unable to distinguish between cartoons and real people. Good to know.
Oh yeah, everyone is an exploited minority according to Marx's Conflict Theory Sociology. Without the majority/minority conflict, the left would have no way to agitate society. They depend on it. Latinos are a socialist group because they support socialism more than even the Occupy Wall Street group
Slightly off topic, but one thing I noticed about your Graph was how much rich people loved capitalism, and how much poor people loved socialism. Quite a few points to be mined from that nugget.
Lmao!! This is getting so entertaining! You have the moderate, educated, normal Republicans versus the PF Forum type Republicans. The entertainment value of this battle is priceless. My favorite so far is Chris Christie saying this libertarianism spreading is dangerous and Bob Dole telling them to close up shop for a year and that Ronald Reagan would never make it in this party. It's like a daily soap opera. It's hilarious how much in control the media is of the Republican party. Aka the Rush Limbaughs and Fox News. They have more control then the actual politicians.
WTF? Thats cause "rich" people are the only ones producing tax revenue. So screw them, lets side with those who produce nothing.
- Appeasement concessions never work. In two party politics, capitulation to the other parties agenda on points of disagreement is not a way to "Win". The Republicans need to stand on their principles, particularly when it comes to Immigration, Budget, and Obamacare. We're not going to give you everything you want, just so you'll say you like us... Rot In Hell! -
Ideological entrenchement and intransigence is a recipe for stalemate. Seems that is exactly the goal of the "new republican party" from their minority position. And that is not serving either the country or their constituents. Any political party or politician that is incapable of compromise is incompetent.
The false perception of their being an actual choice has worked fairly well for the leading class. They will not let go of a winning strategy by allowing a proven sellable ploy such as the GOP to go down.
If there were actual stalemate, that would be the absolute best thing for the country. History has shown that years of heavy activity and compromise do not result in as much growth as times of stalemate.
McCain is right, but not for the reasons you listed. The Republican party needs to tell the hard right to shut up. That doesn't mean they have to give up their conservative values. Not at all. One can be conservative without being a hard right dick about it. IF they do that then they get the moderates who don't neccesarily support the liberal agenda, but they hate the hard right more. Which in turn would I believe force the Democratic party to tell the hard left to shut up.. BOTH parties need to move towards each other for the better of the country.
They have a difficult road ahead of them. I mean the old school GOP they talked the social and religious talk but they were able to really avoid it once they got in to office. Now the crazy extremists are actually infiltrating government and actually doing the crazy things they've talked about for years. It is hilarious how they think they will win with their attacks on minorities, women, poor people, etc. The smart Republicans understand that Rand Paul type candidates can not win on the national stage. Extremists never have been able to and will never win a national election.
OMG A post that makes sense!!!!!! whats the world coming too. Even though i lean lefty i feel the same way you do. I don't agree with far left or far right ideals. If we are that far away from each other where never gonna get anywhere. Great post conhog
Please throw them out and run your extremists. This will ensure Democrats hold onto the White House for years to come!
They are already basically the same. The GOP needs to move so far right that they are left and forget the social fascism.
Obvious points, maybe. People with no money want to vote themselves money at the expense of people who don't want to be forced to give their money away.
And on the opposite side of the spectrum, those with money want to vote to ensure that no one else ever gets any money. And I know you will come back with "no one cares if other people get money, as long as it isn't THEIR money they are taking" I say that is untrue. Those in power don't want to give up power and in this country money = power So obviously those with money want to keep the group exclusive.
Not sure what papers you read, but everyone was well aware the Democrats were going to take a bath in the mid terms
Yeah, right before the elections that became apparent, but after the Obama election there were plenty who said the GOP was dead or soon to be. We hear that all the time, yet it doesn't seem to pan out...
