I have no idea. What does that have to do with the felony Cohen pled guilty to regarding the hush money payout to Stormy D. Obviously Trump did not want his wife to know about him having unprotected sex with a porn star while she was pregnant with his child. That does not change the fact that this payoff was to help him win the election. It is apparent that the judge, the prosecutor and the defense attorneys all agreed that what Cohen did was a felony and Trump has been named as a co conspirator. What makes you think that you know the law better than the above mentioned people? What you are churning is ameteur Perry Mason crap. Cohen was sentenced to prison partially on the basis of this felony crime. Get a grip...

    Did you not read this?

NEW YORK – The owner of the National Enquirer has admitted the company paid off a former Playboy model to squelch her account of an alleged sexual affair that could have jeopardized Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

New York federal prosecutors on Wednesday disclosed that the intent of a $150,000 payment American Media Inc. gave the woman in August 2016 "was to suppress the model's story so as to prevent it from influencing the election."

Without naming Trump, prosecutors released a nonprosecution agreement with American Media that said the transaction was made "in cooperation, consultation, and concert with ... one or more members or agents of a candidate's 2016 presidential campaign."

Again we'll see, this has to be linked directly to Trump and specifically to the election.

Cohen committed a felony violation of the campaign law "with the knowledge and at the direction of" Donald trump.

Cohen pleaded guilty to that as part of his deal, he had everything to gain and nothing to lose by doing so as he was guilty of other offences. A suspicious person would consider this to be an attempt to tar Trump with the same brush but you have to figure Trump will fight it every step of the way and the burden of proof is far beyond anything convicted liar Cohen can provide.

No, the burden is beyond a reasonable doubt as decided upon by a group of trump's peers.

I very much look forward to watching them make that determination.

Indeed it is.....all the Demos did was, stage a political hit on Trump. While he was negotiating with N Korea. With nothing more than the same old news that was released before.

Although I did see some of the Lame Stream at least admit Cohen is a Democrat, and a couple did mention Cohen' meeting with Demos before the publicity stunt.

No it wasn't.....as the link to the CNN panel was dropped in the thread. Jake Tapper did state that CNN had reported on Cohen wanting to be in the White House. Oh and they did mention the other 2 falsehoods. That is reality. Not a deflection.

Of course if you would have read the thread. Then you wouldn't have made yourself look like you didn't know what you was talking about.

Next time, read first before opening the pie hole. It will save you that embarrassment. Just an FYI there.

Remember that sure does look better than any leftists just dropping in to call Trump a name.

Try again.....The Blue Dogs weren't riding Independent. They rode Democrat and voted for your Special Man. The Utterer Stutterer. At least Try and stick with the Lame Streams script. As their excuses are more realistic than the Cult of Leftness.

So how do you prove intent? The word of a guy that now says exactly the opposite of what he was saying until he got caught being a ******?

Nobody said the Blue Dogs were independants. Read my post again. I said the independants swung the election.

Independents in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio didn't give Trump the win. Democrats who voted for Obama did.

Here's a map of the US counties that flipped to Trump from ...
    https://www.cnbc.com/heres-a-map-of-the-us-counties-that-flipped...
The places that flipped and gave the country to Trump. Consider Fayette County in Northwest Iowa, which flipped by 32 points. In 2012, Obama beat Romney by 12 points (55.3 - 43.3), but this year, Trump won the same county by almost 20 (56.4 - 37.0) Michigan was widely regarded as a win for Clinton until just days before the election.

These former Obama strongholds sealed the election for Trump
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/.../2016-election/obama-trump-counties
Trump also won 194 of the 207 counties that voted for Obama either in 2008 or 2012. ... [Donald Trump wins the presidency in stunning upset ... The Obama-Trump

Note that.....Obama strongholds. Democrats. Not Independents. Oh and moreover.....from Leftist sources pointing out that reality.

Well, it would be up to the FEC to prosecute a campaign violation and that violation is minor.

It is a violation if campaign funds were used. That is not the case here.

It's more than obvious than he sat down with the DNC beforehand and went through what he was to say, he was probably told that he would get a shorter sentence in exchange for being their puppet. He was a pawn for Trump and now a pawn for the DNC.

I'm growing tired of providing you with information over and over, so I'll put it in the form of a question this time.
What was the maximum contribution Cohen could make?

So he "colluded with Russia" and paid Daniels after the election?

I'm not going to bother pointing out how ridiculous that is. Waste of time.

No, he reimbursed Cohen after the election. The rest was talk. The hush money had a double purpose: influence the election and hide it from Melania. And by then the polls showed he had a chance if I remember right.
