I'll bet the media will soon forget about Old Man Pelosi and focus on how strong Old Lady Pelosi is as she deals with this. They'll make her the victim who overcomes a horrific tragedy and becomes a hero in the end.

 

The FBI wouldn't be involved if it was random or personal. That seems to imply it was politically motivated.

A man was brutally attacked in his home with a hammer and most likely trying to protect his wife.

Have we really reached a place, as a society, where our political alliances dictate our concern or lack of concern for others? Why is someone's "worth" attached to anything other than them being a human being?

Not to beat a dead horse, but it never ceases to amaze me that people that identify as Christian and pro-life have shrugged off hundreds of thousands of COVID deaths, a brutal mob attack of Capitol officers, anything involving little girls being pregnant, kids being mowed down by school shooters and crazy Trump's permanent public "F you" to our DOJ. None of those indicate any concern for "life". /smdh

 

Sad for anyone to be assaulted.

 

I guess being a high profile politician doesn't merit a FBI enquiry.. I think ridiculous really doesn't say nearly enough

Lots of assumptions in your post. Bottom line is that Pelosi was targeted for who she represents (the leader of the Democrat House of Representatives) and that attack was political in nature.........................no matter how you want to spin it so it does not look like it is what it is.

This is a strange thing to say coming from a person who attacks Trump in every thread, calls him all kinds of vile names and then by association attaches those vile names to his supporters.

There you go! As expected, the folk on the right blame the victim for physical violence against them. I'll give you points for admitting it. And we should keep in mind that, right now, we don't know yet for sure if this was political. But it should now be clear who cheers for violence...

And I suspect it will become increasingly useful (unfortunately) to understand the nation succumbs further and further into an escalation of violence that will be the Trump's legacy.

And don't think this will be limited to one side. Because there are nuts on BOTH sides who are capable of committing this kind of actions. But the people who blame the victims are only on ONE side. And the one person who initiated all of this is very clear. Cohen's words were prophetic: "Everything Mr. Trump touches, dies"
