Just getting the atheists familiar with the words that will be pronounced over them at their judgement---but as a believer, I use the 'fruit inspector' analogy in the NT, that "You will know them by their fruit. For a good tree bears good fruit, and a bad tree bears bad fruit."

Didn't Jesus say something about judging people or something?

Also who said anything about hopelessness? Medical science has the ability to treat and cure diseases, prayer does not.

Quite exciting, requires a shower afterwards.

Then is it not simply a fear based doctrine as I have mentioned dozens of times and the Christians manage to continually contradict themselves on?

I dont know where YOU get 'fear-based' since I personally know no one who came to the Lord out of fear. Think it's just your guilty conscious bothering you as you try to work your evil..

Actually Wolfie, you dont have to worry about the OP topic--it's "nice" ppl wont go to heaven, where YOU are not even mentioned. YOU are included in my 'Default' group of "dont waste my time with angry, hurt ppl who lead their whole lives in seeking retribution w/bitterness"...aka, the ppl you dont want to hang around (or hanging around you).

BTW, apprapo pick of a username, from The Free Dictionary:

    wol·ver·ine (wlv-rn, wlv-rn)
    n.

A solitary, burrowing carnivorous mammal (Gulo gulo) of northern forest regions, related to the weasel and having a heavyset body, short legs, dark fur, and a bushy tail. Also called carcajou, glutton, skunk bear.

I'm not sure what it is you say I don't understand. We seem to be in perfect agreement that your faith must not be mythological in nature.

If your assessment of Denmark is only based on your fetish with our flag then I can safely say that all is well.

You may choose the act as if you have no idea what I am talking about, however you slipped up as do most Christians here at one time or another.
Just getting the atheists familiar with the words that will be pronounced over them at their judgement

What evil is there to be had? Volunteer work? Joining the fire department? Helping my psudo grandmother? Or are those evil because they do not involve the fearful worship of an imaginary god?

While I imagine you believe the username to be a vast conspiracy, it is not. It is reference to forms of media, neither one of them do I enjoy as much now as when I first joined.

Oh, so YOU do understand, you're just acknowledging that you are 'consciously' (of your own free will) rejecting it?!

So then you shud have no problems moving on with your shallow life, and not wasting it on this forum....right, got it!

I'm pretty sure that has to do with identifying false prophets, not a free pass to pass jdugement on others.

You aren't allowed to judge others, I thought you knew this?

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;"
    Luke 6:37

The tree/fruit analogy could be used in every area of life. Judging a whole group such as atheists like to do with Christians, when used as 'the shoe on the other foot' on them , really brings out their self-righteousness. As in, "Oh what you just said.." The proverbial 1-way street that not even the Liberals alone have a corner on...but then, most atheists are Liberals, arent they?!

Then how about, "YOUR fruit has been inspected and failed the USDA"...

Or, "By YOUR words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

I'm sure that we can find YOU in there somewhere...

So your point IS, that people who reject the made up writings of some ancient desert dwelling men, is not going to be able to go to a magical place those men made up? As I said, that doesn't bother me much.

However, your side stepping is less than elegant.

You are judging, you are not allowed to, shouldn't you refrain from being so harsh and judgmental?

Oh you can use it million unchristian like ways. The first mistake you make is trying to judge atheists like they judge you. Atheist can freely judge and mock you, nowhere does the bible allow you to reciprocate. A good Christian should take it all in stride.

and are most atheist liberals? doubt it.

I admire your openess about freely judging others, OverDrive. It's not the usual I-judge-while-I-pretend-not-to-judge routine that can really wind some Christians here up when reminded of their pretences.

But then, of course, you're also open about using flags to try and pick a fight. So don't get me wrong, I'm not impressed, - only in admiration of your openess about judging others as you see fit.

Fortunately, my judge is not man but the Holy Spirit...and He alone knows my heart as a 'tough lover' of fallen men, like YOU. I dont coddle the rebellious goats (my daughter had one in 4H, so I 'know' about goats)..so if you got a bone to pick, take it to Him.

Sorry, but I'm a 'tough lover' of my fellow man, having been hard-headed & fallen at one time...I, personally, needed a 2 x 4 to get my attention on the subject.

You are side stepping again, those inconvenient scriptures eh?

You are not allowed to judge, it is forbidden by your very book, how do you justify it?

I merely put YOU in the Express Line per the Book of Jude:

“14 Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His Saints, 15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him

Would YOU prefer to wait til I return as one of the many judges at that time?!!

You whiney atheists are never happy...wait, that's what defines an unbeliever, isnt it....no hope and therefore no future ?!

So is that not a doctrine of fear? It is interesting that actually cite the New Testament in this case.

I have lots of hope, however it is based on reality. Not a despicable promise of brutal punishment for all that choose to deny your holy book in favor of something more tangible.

Well, as a mature adult, you shud know that 'you get what you pay for,' or scripturally, "you reap what you sow," in this life. Call it Karma, whatever, it is a spiritual principle, not just in the hereafter, but in this present life. And so 'paying for your sins' or 'bad decisions' (if you will) occurs at some point in this life as well. You will admit that responsibility for one's actions has its rewards and/or penalties..glad to see that you are 'man enuf' to face that 'truth' in life.

And so, you wont be whining or complaining in the future as your bad decisions catch up with you, huh?!
