Well, I have to take your word for it. I didn't know but found it hard to believe that Pelosi kept the Republican appointed Sergeant of Arms of the House. In any case she is his (or her) boss and was around Jan 6.

 

Also worth noting that those Q-GOP terrorists were targeting the House rather than the Senate. Why would they focus on the House if they weren't extremist rightwingers?

 

You are trying to confuse Pelosi's control (day to day or otherwise) of the Capitol Police, which she has, with the specific directives for the Police to stand down (if there was such a directive) and the directives to not have riot gear and get no reinforcements (which were given) on Jan 6. Pelosi did not give those directives (as far as anybody knows), but the Board did.

 

I suppose because the House was the location of the joint session for counting electoral votes. DUH!

 

Show me anywhere that states the speaker of the house controls the capitol police board. They are overseen by congressional commitees, not the speaker. You are making the mistake of granting imaginary powers to Pelosi.

 

For many that will be the truth. Of course it’s on any prosecution to prove otherwise beyond a reasonable doubt due to presumed innocence

That’s just it. The cameras for most will show nothing worse than trespassing with no vandalism or violence. Most while in the Capitol actually stayed within the velvet rope lines for tourists while there.

2) If so, What crime ?
3) If so, how serious ?
