Partially true. Pence could not legally do what Trump suggested on Jan 6, and he did not participate in any insurrection, it's true. But then, neither did Trump or any of his supporters. In fact nobody was attempting an insurrection. Insurrection was just a handy word in the Democrat playbook that said it sounded good and might inflame the masses.

 

Your facts are, not surprisingly, all jumbled in you hyperbolic ire. The Capitol Police report to a Capitol Police Board that is appointed by Congress. Neither the president, DOJ nor the Metropolitan police have anything to say or are related to the Capitol Police. If they were told to stand down that is 100% on Pelosi's shoulders.

(Though they were not told to "stand down." They were just told they could not show up with any riot gear and could not have any reinforcements -- by their congressional masters.

So, the congressional appointed board telling the Chief of the Capitol Police that the his Police can not show up in any riot gear and cannot have any replacements on Jan 6 is not what you would call daily operational control??? What would you call it???

1. There was a thorough investigation that showed that their was no "stand down" order and that Pelosi did not issue any orders to them

2. The latest report claims it was CP Leadership (re: the commanding officers) who made these decisions. Daily operational control is NOT handled by congress.

The idea that with this latest "report" the right is now claiming that the entirety of Jan 6th was:

Why do you keep glossing over the fact that the very same report says that it WAS an attempted coup, that they were coming after congress......to overthrow the election. You act like thats just some minor detail, but not important to the report

I have long noticed that in the photos, supposed violence was never shown. Some windows got broken but we saw no video showing injuries to other than the female shot by the cop. She was not doing a violent thing at the time she was shot.

 

The real confirmation won't become public until, and Judicial Watch wins it's FOIA lawsuit. They're suing for Pelosi's communications with the pentagon, DOJ, capitol police, and I think DC mayor.

There was an investigation of the insurrection and the responses to it and they found NO evidence that Pelosi did any of that. But since your so curious, and I am also, why are you refusing too debate that the same report actually said that it was a coup attempt, as they were coming after congress. So while your focused on trying to blame Pelosi, for what I dont know, your refusing to address the 800lb gorilla in the report that Trump supporters actually came to the capital to overthrow a free and fair election!
