Obamacare fail! Affordable Care Act not so affordable.

We've made 100K a year, we paid our taxes, our health insurance, property tax, income tax, country tax, state tax, gas tax, and on and on and on. We were not rich...comfortable but far from rich. Just like Obama who is one of the 1% this is nothing but jealousy. You want income equality. You want everyone to be as poor as you or as rich as you. You hate those who prosper. Shame on you!!!

 

So they can't have high quality, accessible, and affordable? Of the full range promised, what should they actually expect? I am guessing none if the above.

Here's the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing deal. Someone who makes 15k a year is going to have to make a serious decision about whether to pay a bill or buy groceries. Someone who makes 100k a year, their biggest decision is whether to buy a used yacht or take a vacation as their fun-time-spending this year.

Duh, partially. The insurance companies need bigger pools so that they can handle pre-existing. All the costs are not tranferred to the young but you are right about the healthy. Insurance companies rely on the premiums for the healthy to pay for the sick. People buy health insurance so that, if they get sick, they will be covered.

Even the penalties if people do not get health insurance is to pay their portion to cover sick people. They do not get that benefit if they get sick. We who are healthy pay for more than our own expected costs. That is our share of covering the sick but we do get the benefit if we get sick.
