I think Brown was high on something. People who are high do stupid things. We can already see from the store video that he was strong-arming the store manager and pushing him around, using his size as intimidation.

Yeah, he left twenty pounds of blood in the car.....

Look, I do not know what happened, but anybody in a fight NEVER pulls the other person on top of them. Not only is this something an experienced person would know, we would not do it as kids either....it's just dumb! You always go for the top, always...
    Ask my wife....LOL

Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

To me this is likely, not only the store incident, but to struggle with a Cop? Who the hell does that sober?, even if the Cop is wrong you wouldn't,,he's got the gun!, and at best you wind up in jail.

This does not show clear thinking, Brown had to be smarter than that I would think....The tox did not show that though right?, or dont we know that? I did hear something about Pot, and some Pot can be laced with some crazy stuff [Dont ask me how I know] College days,,,Oh me...

Not true. Ask any BJJ specialist and the 1st THING they do when a person is on top of them is "pull guard" which means you drag them closer to you. It is the distance while in full mount which causes maximum damage. When a person is on top of you and you know your ground game, you pull them in close. |

But, I don't know if this officer knew any ground game.

I'm not sure, I"m responding to what you said that blood on the interior door panel doesn't match with Brown pinning Officer Wilson down in the car. But I do remember from the beginning that it was said there was a struggle inside the car and the gun went off.

The right paints it? Really? How do explain the race hustling Sharpton falsely accusing these white guys who raped Tawana Brawley?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tawana_Brawley_rape_allegations

Or how about Shartpton accusing the Lacrosse players raping Crystal Mangum?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_lacrosse_case

    See how that crap works?

Very true I've had it happen to me.
We tumbled and I ended up on top.Guy grabbed my hair and pulled me close so I couldn't get a swing or decent leverage to do much of anything.
    Was embarrassing, lol.

in training i always pull guard. It's the smartest thing to do. Plus, it leverages you out for a triangle choke. And best part is, when you pull guard and swipe opposite their strong hand, you can double up with an armbar to boot !

I agree when they are ALREADY on top of you,,you pull them close, tie them up. However you do not start off deliberately taking the bottom, you avoid that initially...

in the case of the a cop, i agree because you're armed.
but in a regular fight if you know BJJ, you welcome the ground fight.
prime example of UFC heavyweight Werdum who is an Abu Dab world specialist in BJJ.
when he fights, he often fakes getting hit and goes to the ground.
it's how he got Fedor to tap.

He had the perfect ground game, shoot the mother (*)(*)(*)(*)er, it works every time

The first thing I ever learned in defending myself is, don't mess with anyone with a gun when you don't have one

Well I do not know BJJ and I totally respect your knowledge of the sport. As I mentioned I have no idea how it exactly went down, but given common sense that Cop would not have wanted that guy on top of him, you are no doubt right about the gun advantage.

This thing happened so fast, I doubt there was much planing,,just reaction and instinct, what a shame.

He was shot after breaking free, and running away, then surrendering. He was also shot before that just as DJ stated.

And if he does not burn, then burn the city!

These will be the words of radicals seeking "justice" in the days to come.

I too feel Brown probably caused the aggression. A cop won't just shoot a guy like this for no good reason.

That would be a typical emotional response from Left Wing agitators.

It would seem nobody looks at the ''over all'' damage they do, everything is just for the day. Of course this is nothing new for people that live from one pay check to the other. Store robberies always signal the death of a town, we have seen the same here on Long Island, not looting per say, but the constant robberies cause the Merchants to leave.

The Town then becomes desolate, as there is no reason for outsiders to enter. It gives what is ordinarily a good quiet town a perception and reputation as dangerous, it then slowly decays. It's a shame, but an old story.
