You make a good point, and I'll try to respond accordingly: every one of us should be responsible for our own choices, situations, AND the prices associated with both!

Therefore, it should NOT be the responsibility of the United States, or you, or me to pay for bills racked up by other individuals -- period! And we should remove ALL legislation that slams the United States, or you, or me with the obligations and debts of other individuals! Simple... and yet not a single liberal would agree with that! NO! Liberals staunchly believe that the GOVERNMENT must be responsible for people's medical bills, and the GOVERNMENT must provide this, that, and every other ****ing thing imaginable, purely because the leeches and parasites want it, but can't afford it... right?

Someone posts a link to the fiscal year 2013 budget and you post something that is dated back in May?!?! Really...? And - we Americans who are not racists will enjoy our next four years. Even though I did not vote for Obama, I do believe in America and who the majority voted for per the process that our Founding Fathers put in place. I am an adult and will not sit and whine like a baby because "my guy" didn't win. I will just pray that everyone doesn't act childish and does the best things for this country regardless of party... race.... religion... or sex....

I don't support the ACA but I also don't like idiot mulit-millionaires either. Papa Johns is the #3 pizza company behing Pizza Hut and Dominos and neither of those are whining about the implementation of the ACA and their pizzas cost substantially less.

Simple solution. I used to buy Papa Johns pizzas but as of right now I won't. Not because I don't like the pizza but instead because I don't like the BS owner of Papa Johns. Yes, he may have to incur some costs to provide health insurance that he should have been doing all along as a responsible corporate owner and CEO of the corporation. Pizza Hut, for example, has offered health insurance for full time employees for decades and it hasn't hurt their bottom line.

 

I wonder why all the Papa Johns employees don't flock to Pizza Hut for jobs if health insurance is so important to them?

Libertarians should be advocating a free market where everyone is allowed to choose the company they want to work for based on which one provides for their needs the best.

But apparently modern libertarians are now for a one-size-fits-all society where big government makes all those decisions for us.

 

I think it will be interesting to see how Obama Care will affect businesses. Businesses that do provide health insurance seem to complain about the rising cost of it so now they can just drop it and pay the penalties. At least that will provide some cost stability for companies and they can stop whining about it. Alot of older people work just to have health insurance. Maybe they can retire early. Who knows how it will benefit or hurt.

 

Back to your knee-jerk one-liners I see... and not one word about why NONE of ANY of the Senators, neither Conservatives nor Libocrats voted for Obama's latest joke of a "budget". And, not one word about what marvels and miracles you look for President Messiah to regale us with for the next four, long, ****ed-up, miserable years.

First off Tito… We Libertarians do not like big Gov’t… Also, we want what is best for this country and its citizens. An employer providing healthcare is making a better America. Question, do you want your employees getting the flu and missing work so your short staffed or do you want them to be able to get a flu shot so production does not falter?

TO THOSE OTHERS READING – There is no “wrong” in an employer putting money into its assets… It’s like putting gas and oil in your car, maintaining it… preventative maintenance. When I was in the Marines, I was taught the most important thing was the troops. Troops first and mission second. Take care of the troops.
