According to Pat Robertson hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for sin.

So,after thinking on this a while I've come to realize something. If this is true then that means that God allowsa some sin to flourish while punishing others.

For example, Hamas and other terrorists organizations, North Korea and China, are all very sinful organizations and countries.

So why would he allow some sin to flourish while punishing others? What is so special about the people he allows to sin?

Not true. It isn't an opinion it's the word of God.
    As you should.
Yes, and that means I myself am, i.e. I AM
Lucky for you I'm formally educated in translating Koine Greek. Jesus
definitely said that He was God. That's why the Jews wanted
    to stone him.

Simple....Adaptation - a species adapts to Environmental changes or the species dies off.

If you do not even understand this basic principle of Evolution, then I would highly suggest your educate yourself on what Evolution is.

    Environmental change triggers rapid evolution

I stopped reading right there. It starts out by assuming what is fact. The rest can only be biased and cherry picked to validate an assumption.

That is not a search for truth.

Successful societies like those in the West fall down when sexual promiscuity takes over.

We start to see things like 911, and the failures at Katrina, when the long delayed work on those dykes was allowed to go unheeded, for instance.
The present mess in congress and the fighting inside American politics is what happens when Feminism and Gayness builds up a society full of fatherless bastards kids raised by single mothers.

    Right...
So we nee consider this as a literary art devised so as to avoid the specific mention of 22 now extinct evolutions of mankind, the great Extinction of all but Modern man, and the filling of the whole world with three racial stocks, (Ham, Shem, Japheth).

That's your uninformed opinion. Can you provide evidence besides using
your fabricated story telling? Seriously? And on an adult level?

Adaptation in no way changes a species into another species. It's a
natural occurrance, like a dog's coat changing with the seasons. It's
    still the same species.

I've shown that I have a far better grasp of evolution than you. I suggest
that you be the one to educate yourself.

And your evidence for this is where?

Small changes adds up to new species.

I can claim I am the POTUS, but I would be wrong. Claiming and showing is 2 different things. All you have shown is a complete ignorance of Evolution.

The post you quotes me from!...

Obviously you don't know too much about the Holy Bible. I was being exact in stating that Noah lived another 350 yrs. after the Great Flood. That comes from Scripture and not based on my opinion. Here is a passage in Scripture stating Noah lived another 350 yrs. after the Great Flood.

"Noah lived three hundred fifty years after the flood and died at the age of nine hundred fifty."---Genesis 9:28-29 CEV

You mean how long from Noah to Abraham?, that would be a more proper question to ask if you knew anything bout the Bible, since Scripture tells us Noah came before Abram (Abraham). FYI Abram was Abraham's name initially until God changed His name from Abram to Abraham. You probably didn't know that...eh?

Again your lack of Bible knowledge is evident here, from Noah to Abram (Abraham) we are talking 10 generations to be exact and not 2 as you believed.

If you are going to be a critic of the Bible at least have some knowledge of it, otherwise it makes it evident you don't know what you are talking about.

And yes When Noah died, Abraham was approx. 58 yrs. old. I say approx. because the Bible doesn't exactly tell us that.

And so your question, "How long from abraham to noah? Be exact?"....and your answer to your own question... "Oh wait, about 58 yrs old."...doesn't make sense...lol

If you are asking for the "pharaoh's" name the Bible doesn't give us the name of the "pharaoh" and so I don't exactly know...lol

Did you answer your own question here in saying that Moses was the "pharaoh's" name? If you are, no we can't assume that was the "pharaoh's name as I have stated the Bible doesn't give us the name of the "pharaoh".

I don't know exactly? Do you? Be exact if you know?...lol

When I quote anything in Scripture that is not my opinion, when I say all non-believers will be separated from God for all eternity and sent to hell, that is not my opinion for it is written in Scripture.

When I say Jesus resurrected from the dead, that is not my opinion for it is written in Scripture. When I say there was a Great Flood, that is not my opinion for it is written in Scripture.

And lastly when I say Noah lived another 350 yrs. after the Great Flood to be exact, that is not my opinion for it is written in Scripture.

I'm serious, you honestly and truly don't have a grasp of evolution. And to
quote yourself, you've shown nothing. I provided evidence on virtually
every post of the fruit fly discussion and all you did was kick a ball
around. You showed no evidence to support your claim. I had the entire
    study on my side.

Genetics. Mutations in Genetics, and how we cab trace mutations back.

Dude, you don't even know the basics of Evolution, like Natural Selection is what drives Evolution.

Using Drosophila to Teach Genetics Explain to me how this study Invalidates Evolution.

The theist point about God being that He/She/It is not a creature, imaginary or otherwise, but the uncreated creator of all creation. Only small children incapable of abstract thought and really stupid atheists think of God as having a beard and sitting on some cloud. Well, and maybe some Mormons. ;-)

Unlike you and the author(s) of the Gospel of John Jesus almost certainly did not speak Greek.

And unlike you the author(s) of te Gospel of John did not think of the Bible (whose NT-canon did not even exist in their time) as the Word of God. According to the Gospel of John the Word of God is Jesus Christ Himself - not any given book however wise and inspired it may be.

LOL! You've go to be kidding. Look, throughout this thread you have shown
    very little knowledge of evolution.
I've answered this how many times and you still don't get it. I never once
said it invalidates anything. What the study shows is that a species that
propagates with another species is going to revert to the original species.
What do you not understand about that? I mean besides the fact that you
honestly and truly don't understand the evolution you're preaching. It's
apparent that you didn't read or even peruse the study but continued to
say nothing pertinent to the discussion.

Aramaic and Greek were the language of the day.. Remember the 10 Greek cities that were prosperous when Jerusalem was a poverty stricken backwater? It was called the Decapolis.

Below is a thorough explanation of the Genesis flood and how it relates to other flood stories explained by my favorite Christian web-site.

It is true that the Genesis flood account shares many striking similarities with the Babylonian Gilgamesh epic, and with the Babylonian Atrahasis epic, for that matter. In fact, literally hundreds of flood traditions have been preserved all over the world, with traditions abounding in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, as well as both of the Americas, and the Genesis account shares similarities with most of them. Of the flood traditions which have survived to the present time, about 95% describe a global cataclysmic deluge, 88% tell of a favored family of humans saved from drowning to reestablish the human race after the deluge, 66% say the family was forewarned of the coming cataclysm, 66% blame the wickedness of man for the deluge, and 70% record a boat as being the means by which the chosen family (and animals) survived the flood. More than one third of these traditions mention birds being sent out from the boat.

Since every culture has descended directly from the flood’s survivors, it is logical that stories of this traumatic event are both abundant and universal, having been passed down from generation to generation. This is certainly the case. Many of these traditions are remarkably consistent, considering the relative isolation of the cultures, the length of time that has elapsed since the flood, and the human tendency to embellish, exaggerate, and distort stories over time. The Babylonian and biblical accounts of the flood appear to represent different retellings of an essentially identical flood tradition.

Skeptics want to imagine that there was, in fact, no flood and that the Bible’s flood account was borrowed from a Babylonian myth. The evidence seems to suggest otherwise: there was, in fact, a catastrophic worldwide deluge, and the veracity of the biblical account is attested to by numerous other similar ancient accounts. In addition to abundant historical evidence, there is a wealth of physical proof in favor of the flood’s historicity. The flood of Noah’s day was most certainly a real historical event, and the biblical account of what happened is trustworthy.

For the non-believer death means a cessation of existence but for the believer death does not mean a cessation of existence. Physical death is when the soul/spirit separates from the physical body. So in this sense, Jesus died because He was God in human form, however He did not die in the sense that it meant a cessation of existence.
For God to "die' in that sense would mean that He ceased to exist, and neither the Father nor the Son nor the Holy Spirit will ever cease to exist. Let's not forget God is eternal, He has no beginning, He has no end. The Son, the second Person of the Trinity, left the body He temporarily inhabited on Earth, but His divine nature did not die, nor could it.

So yes, in essence what you said, "Jesus's god 'entity' didn't die" is true.

Without any doubt it's very obvious you're not at all understanding this sacrifice, if you did you wouldn't have made that statement but then again this is the kind of statement that we (Christians) would expect to be made by a non-believer.

Jesus sacrificial death on the cross was made on our behalf. He paid the penalty for our sins in that whoever believes in Him, accepts the sin-debt payment He made on the cross they will not have to pay the penalty for their sins. They will follow Jesus and spend eternity with Him in paradise.

Anyone who rejects this payment Jesus made for them because of disbelief we be forever separated from God for all eternity and sent to hell to pay for the penalty of their sins, where according to Scripture "there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth"
