Now you are just making stuff up and trying to defend the indefensible by talking about the bad Muslims.

You do not need to preach to the choir .. I know about Islam already.

You have no clue why the Pope's put restictions on the Bible because you have never studied it and know nothing about what was going on at that time. Quit making up stories about events in history which you know nothing about.

The Church was focused on destroying anything that disagreed with the dogma that they had recently created.

This new dogma varied substantially in many ways from what the early church fathers believed and they wanted to cover it up the tracks of the past.

This is not fantasy but reality that is recorded history.

There was to be one God and Jesus was that God .. there was to be one religion and one doctrine. In earlier days there were many Christian churches with competing doctrines.

The squabbles continued for centuries after Constantine .. until finally the Church managed to wipe almost all conficting ideas off the face of the earth .. or so they thought.

The Catholic Church "corrupted", and distorted the Bible .. at least the NT .. as much if not more than any Muslim did.

As far as I know Islam has pretty much left much of the OT alone .. They certainly follow it more closely than Christians do .. right, wrong.. or otherwise.

No and no, because those things aren't happening. You're saying that all Muslims are evil and trying to exterminate themselves? You sound like a lunatic. Also, I'm not sure how you think that there are separate Jewish towns inside of those two cities.

Uh, no, I don't know where you got that idea.

What the hell are you babbling on about? Are you just making up your own version of history? What sects were destroyed by Muslims? The Cathars were destroyed by their own brothers in faith.

See? You have no idea what you're talking about. The Knights Templar was founded AFTER the completion of the First Crusade. Open up a damn history textbook and stop making your own version of history up.

You haven't provided me with ONE source for your claims so far, you liar. Show me one source where Bill Nye admits he believes in a worldwide flood caused by a deity.

There are some parallels .. but many differences as well.

In the end it all boils down to politics .. be it for religious or other reasons. Most in the US dislike communism and we have a bit of a history of some of the evils that were related to this institution.

The same evils can be related to institutions where Church and state are mixed.

In the case of the South it was over slavery..

My hope is that we can learn from the past and not go back to slavery and keep religion out of government.

Its all immaterial since each of the seven kinds of political institutions that govern nations all enforce the authority and mandate Laws that must be obeyed.

People can not just decide toi opt out and set up their own little sect of group and ignore either Taxes or Laws imposed over them.

Muslim Theocracies are essentially Democracies in cases like Hamas, where the people voted 90% for the Theocracy.

It is funny that you are so down on Muslims when Islam is so similar to Christianity.

They both worship the same God (God of Abraham)
    The both respect the OT
They both respect Jesus (Muslims look at him as a prophet - just like the early Christians) (After Constantine Jesus was made into a God by modern Christians)
They both have done very evil things in the name of this God
They both use the "Fear Factor" to scare people into believing

Other than the " making Jesus into God" there is not much difference that I can see other than the various rituals and how each worships their God.

The major difference is that Christianity sells the concept of Truth as the major deterent to sexual promiscuity in a society, while the Muslim actually enforces the Law which the Jews called their Torah for the same purpose.

The similarities between the two religions is that both see the effects of sexual proiscuity in raising Welfare Costs to the breaking point, and the destructive nature of Fatherless kids growing up criminals, as barbarians in their midst.

The Cultural Institution used by the Christians to bring about the necessary Sexual norms avoids the problems inherent when Islam uses the Political Instiution to enforce the sexual norms.

The facts are in the present, the modern authoritarian states are the preservation and is the ancient caliphates that is why democracy does not work in Muslim lands their policy in governance has remain the same since the founding of Islam and that is the oppression of women, destruction of Christians and Jews by the way it is not the Christians or the Crusades who declare war against the Muslims it is the Muslims who declare war-jihad against Christians and Jews.

There is nothing to talk bad about the Muslims they have already done a great job to themselves on that. In earlier days there was only one Christian group they were the followers of Jesus Christ under the leadership of St. Peter. It was after the death of all the Apostles and first generation Christians that other Christian groups started to sprang up and make their own interpretation of the Bible.

Constantine was not even a Christian but after his victory that he attributed to the Christian God he become involve and his first action was to try to resolve the division that has grown out of control in Christianity.

The Catholic church preserve all the documents including heretical documents and studied them to make sure it doe snot corrupt the Bible, the Catholic church did not burn them unlike Muslim who have burn all Islamic writings in order to hide the truth the truth that Mohammed was supposed to consult with Christian leaders regarding his vision and encounter with the angel Gabriel. Everything that you are referring to is actually about Islam not Christianity that is how much reversion of story and history you have a huge misread and misunderstanding of the truth. Muslims do not follow either the OT or NT they have their own koran.

You claim all Christians are evil, so what's wrong to say the same about Muslims?

    I got it from you.

Clearly you are not familiar with Muslim history your intention is only about negatively attacking Christians. I thought you don't care of Christianity? Then what are you saying about the Cathars if they were wiped out by Christians then that is between Christians it does not involve you since you hate all Christians.

Stop being so anti Christian and anti Catholic, why would you be so interested with the Templars they are Catholic Holy Warriors what do you care what happen to them unless you are saying that they are to good guys.

See you are a liar, did I ever said that Bill Nye believe that the great flood that he believe happen was the result of a deity? No you are making things up. Bill Nye believe that a great flood did happen and the video you posted was Bill's attack against creationist not about Noah's flood and I posted a video that proof that a CREATOR is the only way that the universe could have started.

You are too caught up with your extreme views and anger in regards Christians just refuse to accept your unfounded truth that is why you hate Christians.

I am chill, maybe you are nervous that the truth is too much for you to handle?

    Abe Lincoln;
“In regards to this great Book (the Bible), I have but to say it is the best
gift God has given to man. All the good the Savior gave to the world was
communicated through this Book. But for it we could not know right
from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and
hereafter, are found portrayed in it.”

“Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right”

Now, don't tell me you are going to hate Abraham Lincoln too?

Sorry to disappoint you but Christianity and Islam are totally different, if you say to a Muslim that Christianity is the same as Islam they will accept that but if you say Islam is the same as Christianity they will not accept that.
They worship different God of Abraham.
Muslim follow the Ishmael lineage although no Ishmaelite prophet is known the only known Ismaelite prophet is Mohammed
Christian follow the Isaac lineage all the prophets of Isaac include Moses, Daniel, etc. except Mohammed.
Christian worship Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Muslims don't they have totally distort the true nature, essence and spirit of Jesus Christ.
Muslims from its inception have use Fear Factor", Christianity about selflessness that is why Jesus Christ never raise an army or did any of His Apostles and Rome would be conquered without any Christian army.

Do not be decived, Muslims like very much to claim that Christianity is similar to Islam in order to confuse Christians and others into converting to Islam.

Muslims enforce their own laws their sexual promiscuity is the discrimination and degradation of women.

So now there are 2 different Sky Daddy's in the clouds.

FEAR FACTOR! Your accusing Islam of using fear factor? Better look at your own religions track record there fella. I would not call TURN or BURN exactly loving. Christianity uses HELL as a FEAR FACTOR to threaten people with eternal DAMNATION if they do not TURN. Jesus never raised an army because he never lived.

So you have the one perfect religion yet not everyone agrees with it. You see a problem with that picture?

No. Muslims do not consider him some great saviour of man kind they only considered him a prophet. The one thing I do see is that they are not on forums like this slicing each other up over their religion. What does that TELL you? It tells me that they are comfortable with what they believe and do not feel they have to defend it to no one. BOTTOM line is that christianity will never over take Islam, Judaism or any of the other religions simply because it will never convince these religions or the world that its the perfect one. Churches all over the US are losing members by the truck loads as people are abandoning the MYTH for REALITY.

The Constantine intervention was merely Christian prophecy fulfilled:

Matt. 24:30 And then, (hearlding the end of pagan astrological/mythological worship: [Rev. 6:12-17]), shall appear (in the clouds, [1thess 4:16], to Constantine and 12,000 soldiers: [As reported to us by the historian of that very time, Eusibius]), the sign, (The Cross), of the Son of man, [Mat 26:64], (not the Son of God, which is a spirit, not a person), in heaven, (ushering forth the new paradigm of monotheistic Hebrew Christianity): and then shall all the tribes of the earth (i.e., the Western European Roman Empire) mourn, and they shall see the Son of man, (not the Son of God), coming (at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, which fully legalized and then legitimized Christianity in the Empire for the first time) in the clouds of heaven, (seen by Constantine himself and 12,000 soldiers as reported by Eusibius, the historian), with (socio-political) power ([Rev 4:11] in the establishment of Universal Roman Christianity), and great glory (in a Pope, identifiable with Appollyon, the destroyer, Abaddon in the Hebrew: [Rev 9:11] the reign, 467AD, of Hilary I).

    2) The shiites are not concerned with "talk" nor debate as they hate the Sunni too much for having killed ali, the cousin of Mihammed, and usurpoing the "church" that they alone belueve was Allah's will.
They have consistently fought against each other to the death.
Islam is like the Protestants on the Sunni side, and tge Shiites on the Catholic Church side, right at the stage of the worst internecine war of the inquisitions.

    1) The Achillkes heel for the muslims is that they abide zero that Jesus told them, which Christians and Jews will attack and bring them down for:

    1) They do not love their enemy.

We see the terrorism today, and can read about the previous expansion of Islam by force.

Christians "sell" their christianity, but muslims impose it.

    2) They do not strive to be the sons of god, which Jesus said all men can become:

    John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name

    3) They do not acknowledge that the father of Truth is Reality, hence God is not one.

    4) They do not strive for peace, but fight even each other.

    5) They do not turn the other cheek, especially to those who oppose their religion, though Jesus demonstrated that Christians should even endure martydom by their critics.

    6) They do not "preach the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost" which Jesus SPECIFICALLY said to do.

    7) They do not believe "All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men," as they kill people who burn the Koran.

So all this makes them inferior to christianity because they do not believe the same as christians do? Let me ask you a question. Where in all the religious text of the Abrahamic religions does it say that this god only accepts one religion? It seems many have an interpretation of what this god accepts but no where is it written he prefers one religion over the other. Thats why this god is man made. Man makes up what a god is suppose to accept as right and wrong.

You fail in your interpretation of what this jesus was to Muslims and what he is to christians and Jews. Jews did not accept him as a Messiah nor saviour of mankind. Muslims only considered him a prophet not a saviour of mankind. Christianity is the only one that applies the term saviour to him. You will have a hard time bringing down the second fastest growing religion in the world. Just like christianity, Islam is here to stay weather I don't like it or you don't like it.

This is the pot calling the kettle black here. One thing about Islam their doctrine is consistent.

Not so... you are making things up again. Paul went down a very different path than the Church of Jerusalem. The disagreements are well known .. and are mentioned in the Bible.

James 2 (supposedly written by James the Brother of Jesus and leader of the Jerusalem Church) is entirely devoted to dealing with what he considered to be false doctrine (the doctrine promoted by Paul) among some groups of Christians at the time.

Again, you are making stuff up but you bring up a very interesting point. " Why did the Church get rid of all the source material for the Bible ??)

The Catholic Church did not preserve "any" of the source documents used to create the first Bible. None.

This is exceedingly strange because there is no reason for the Church not to have these documents .. the Vatical library has never been destroyed....and has not changed hands since the time of Constantine. Why the Church not keep the source material is a vexing question indeed?

The source documents were destroyed almost immediately .. presumably to cover their tracks as no other explanation makes sense. Occam's Razor.

Regardless of the reason .. the Church intentionally destroyed all of the source material used to create the Bible.

Your claim that the Church preserved these documents is just plain false.. quit making stuff up .... Please

This is a retardant to truth.

Stop making up history.Eusibius never reported there were 12,000 soldiers with Constantine or that the soldiers that were with him saw anything.

You are never to believed in anything you say cause you can't help but take the smallest truth and muddy it with your personal touch of horse manure.

Issac and Ishmael is about tracing lineage ( who are the true "Gods chosen people" ) .. Regardless who is right .. Both Islam and Judaism worship the god of Abraham.

True .. same with Christianity .. at least after Constantine. If we are to believe that portion of the Bible is correct .. Jesus talked about eternal suffering in the afterlife for those that did bad things. Matt 25 41-46

    Hahahaaaaa...

    Right.

The major diference is that Islam will cause the sufferinghere and now, while for chrisians, they have a reprieve untik god does it to them in an after life.

Which sounds the better idea in regard to you?

    1) Inferior?
    No.

The muslims really accepted Judaism and rejected Christianity.
They re-established The Law which they call Sharia, but which is not only very muchthe same without the rituals of Judaism, necessarily, but with the practices that these muslims have avtually respected were the Jews did not.

Christianity is and will convert the muslims as it shall the Jews, to a mind to practice behavior that that these people try to enforce through rules, law, and punishment.
Christianity is superior in the sense that through educationit works for a bettr social sysytem, as illustrated by Rev Martin Luther King, in regard to slavery/inequality.

    2) Where does it say that only one way is acceptable?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the truth,… the way, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me, (i.e.; Truth).

Christianity will in all essence destroy itself as its doing now. Church memberships are down, less young people are going to church and seeking other avenues. Christianities vain attempt to become to sole religious belief will FAIL as its doing now. It has not convinced the world its the only religion.
