1- "Large crowds from the 10 Cities followed Jesus" (Matt 4:25) whether they were Greek or not..:)

2- Your claim that "Matthew never wrote a gospel" is Conspiracy Theory # 589 I believe..;)

3- Jesus began with Israel but later made it clear he'd come for the whole world - "I came not to judge the world, but to save the world" (John 12:47)
And later still he told his mates to carry on the good work- "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel" (Mark 16:15)

Did Jesus claim to be sinless? Chapter and verse if you please..;)
Remember he was half human and his imperfect human side showed through like when he trashed the temple stalls, cursed a fig tree, and in Gethsemane he asked God to get him off the hook.
Once he got so fed up with people hero-worshipping him that he said-
"Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone" (Luke 18:19

And his disciples did preach the word, and they performed miracles thousands of them... just like Jesus. And crowds followed them... just like Jesus... and this went on for centuries.

And when the saints died... usually as martyrs, their tombs became places of pilgrimages. They were all over Europe and they still exist in the Middle East and parts of Europe. The Shrine of the 5th century martyr Saint George in Lydda Israel is still visited, even by Muslims who revere him dearly. They have a mosque attached to the wall of the church.

He said that he was the son of God. He called other people swine, dogs, serpents, and sons of hell. So he was claiming to have been better than they were. That qualified him to cast the first stone, the second stone, and the third stone.

You would do well to stop acting like you know what you're talking about and start providing the
links from everything you Google, cut and paste. That's very disingenuous of you not to do so.

Interesting, but what I 'quoted' actually came from notes I took from a book lent to me some years ago by someone (Bible student) who knew what I was studying. . I've studied this over years. This subject is not new and reasons don't change. I looked at your site but it wasn't the one I used to condense the book notes I used which were far longer. Would you prefer I use long explanations from notes - or condensed explanations.

    If so, here goes.

As an agnostic I really don't believe either side is right. I simply study the Bible against the history, culture, religions against which it written. Prophecy? No-one forecast the advent of Jesus. Prophets and teachers had been a fact of life in Hebrew history. Jesus was just another. Nothing in the OT refers to Jesus when set against the context of Isaiah. Isaiah was an astute man who could see the times in which he lived. If you know the history of the time Isaiah, he could see the fate of Israel (both N orth and South kingdom) at the hands of the Assyrians. And he was right. The Assyrians took over - BOTH kingdoms. The northern kingdom was destroyed. This gave the Assyrians access to the ports of Tyre and Sidon on the Mediterranean. The southern kingdom survived only by paying tribute to Assyria. It had little to offer otherwise.
The southern kingdom safe - under the same conditions - when the Babylonians took over.
Around the same time an Egyptian Pharaoh led an army againsty Babylon - and was sent back to Egypt with his tail between his legs.
When Isaiah found out that Judah was going to form a treaty with Egypt he could see what was going to happen, and 'prophesied' against it. And of course the Babylonians reacted to prevent being confronted on two fronts.
Isaiahs 'prophecies' were founded on Jewish beliefs that 'Gods Chosen' would reign supreme sometime in the future. Judaism survives on these beliefs. Messianic Era (Jewish style) Nothing to do with the coming of a Christian type Messiah.
'Next Year in Jerusalem' - the toast at the end of Jewish Festival meals.

Christianity is founded upon misinterpretation of 'prophesies' - many of which were written after the event. And the elevation of another Jewish preacher to a divinity.

Margot is right. Gotquestions is not a good source. I have had correspondence with them and had no satisfactory reply - except Christian doctrine.

They have no answer to Jeconiah, just a series of 'perhaps'. But the Bible does. Neither Joseph or Mary qualify.

Judaism formed from incorporating ideas from other religions. Christianity from Judaism. Islam from Judaism. And various sects chosing what to emphasise from their 'parent' religion.
Has been so from the beginning of time.

Jesus was in a line of Jewish 'evangelists' who attempted to return his own people back to Jahweh. There is no evidence of anything further. Religion is OK for thopse who refuse to accept reality.

    Prunepicker. Just for your information.

Much of what I know I learnt from studying using books - long before the internet came into existence. I learnt Bible stories in Sunday School, my mother being an ardent Christian. We also had a Society in those days called Christian Endeavour for children and teenagers. I have continued my studies, apart from periods which prevented that - including a period in the British Services. I led a church for a period which led to more Bible Study. Studying eventually led me to questioning and investigating the numerous errors, exaggerations found in the Bible. Studying the OT led me to question the prophecy of Jesus in the OT. Studies show me NO such prophecy. Taken into context all references refer to the Hebrews. Hence my agnosticism. Whatever Judaism and Christianity want to believe, the OT and NT are completely incompatible. If Jesus the Jewish preacher had not been lifted to divinity by the disciples he would probably be unknown today.

The fact I quote from internet sites things that I learnt from books in the middle of the last century is simple. They give short, simple and concise details which are expanded to several pages in the old books.

Just so you know. I was born in 1939.

NOW go on believing what you want. Taking all things into context I see NO reference to Jesus in the OT. He was simply another Jewish preacher who fell foul of the Jewish religious heirarchy and suffered for it.
If you have Jewish friends then ask them to unscramble the stories of Jesus arrest, trial and crucifixon in the light of Jewish ritual and the different gospel stories. The Jewish 'teacher' I have access to, can't. No-one knows when Jesus was born - or died and it all hinges on that.

The difference is that they don't exist..:)
For example a witch in a chatroom once said she was invoking the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet to come and deal with me; I put the kettle on but she never turned up (sniffle).
Hey guys don't you just hate it when you get stood up by goddesses?
(Mind you, after seeing her pic (below) I wouldn't have known whether to tickle her chin or offer her a saucer of milk)-

British and Israeli forensic anthropologists have created an image of what Jesus probably looked like. (Not very much like normal western renderings.)

No, and if I did you could book me in for a shrink..:)
Think of God as a kind of Star Wars 'The Force'-
God said- "..I fill heaven and earth"(Jeremiah 23:24)
and all true Christians have tapped into him, that's why they're awesomely goodnatured, fearless and kool, with the love of Jesus in their baby-blue eyes..:)

How is it a conspiracy theory?

Is Hinduism a conspiracy theory because it can't confirm the events of the Bahgavad Gita are true?

Jesus broke his own commandment from Matthew 5:22 (CEB) = "22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with their brother or sister will be in danger of judgment. If they say to their brother or sister, ‘You idiot,’ they will be in danger of being condemned by the governing council. And if they say, ‘You fool,’ they will be in danger of fiery hell."
