What version of the bible are you reading from. Mine has that worded a bit different. And in chapter 6 instead of chapter 1.

That doesn't make sense. You can't be all knowing and still have faith in spite not knowing.

That is like saying that you know the bible is true because the bible says it's true... Complete nonsense.

The Book of Revelation is a prophecy about the future. That is the only place in The Bible that mentions a war in heaven. Unless you're saying that the events in The Book of Revelation has already happened.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You are confused...which is not surprising.

You probably haven't even read the entire Bible from start to finish like how someone would read a novel or much less just read the entire Book of Revelation.

When people buy books to read, they read the entire book, starting from the beginning and working their way all the way to the end. That's the only way you are going to thoroughly understand the entire book. Same goes with the Holy Bible, you can't pick out verses here and there and think you are interpreting the verses or passages correctly.

The war in heaven has already taken place with satan and his demons getting cast out of heaven and sent down to earth. Some events mentioned in Apostle John's Book of Revelation have already taken place and others are still yet to come in the future.

The Revelation to John is often mistakenly believed to be exclusively concerned with end-times prophecy, but according to the original instructions given to John, it was about things already known, as well as, things to come:

Jesus said to John, "Write down what you have seen---both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen." Revelation 1:19 NLT

This is also evidenced by the fact that both the second and third chapters of the Revelation are written to, and about, churches that existed in John's own time.

Why did Jesus wipe out the earth with a flood, then send himself to save us?
Could he not send himself before killing off most everything in the world 1st?

So, what verse in Revelation was talking about a previous war in heaven?

Why is a country like Japan more respectful and moral than all abrahamic religious countries?
    How about India?

NIV or KJV Gen. 6: 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

Remember, you are referring to God, Luke 1:37 "For nothing is impossible with God."

No, we know the Bible is true because it is the Word of God, it has a history and continuity.

Uhm, so now we are comparing Japan with Christianity and Judaism? Maybe you are not familiar with Japan's history their emperor is basically treated as a god and their history is as bloody as any nations in fact their sins from 1920 - 1945 still hangs above their head. And how about India? Why do you think Buddha gave up his earthly wealth, because he went to seek full enlightenment after witnessing the suffering and brutality that exist in India. Maybe you want to ask, how about Tibet?

Their history is no worse than christian or jewish history. Have you seen the OT? Watch "The Bible" on History channel. Pretty gruesome stuff.
Today, they are a beacon for politeness. We in the US and other christian type nations, not so much.

That there is nothing impossible with God? Yes of course, there are some phrases in the Bible that are literally true and some in metaphorical, this one is absolutely true.

As you can see ancient history around the world is full of wickedness. And IMO that is why God chose the Hebrews to deliver His message in order to bring some civility and sanity to this world.Yes, I have watch and is still watching the TV series "The Bible" pretty straight forward and again you will notice just how it relates to the history and origin of the people of Israel.

Here is one for you to search on, in Japan there is I believe no Muslim, Japan has a silent regulation against Islam.

God punish humanity because they refuse to change their wickedness and after 40 days God with His everlasting love for human promise never to wipe out humanity again no matter how wicked they are.
God send Himself to save us not physically but spiritually to erase the sins of Adam and Eve. The flood has nothing to do with erasing the sins of Adam of Eve. God's plan is not for us to know, but what we know now that God did try many times to reach out to us and His ultimate reaching out to us was His personal appearance as Jesus Christ, His love for us was ultimate that is why with His ultimate and almightiness He became one of us that is how a great leader is just like the TV show "Under cover bosses" the best boss is one that understand their employees and experience what they experience in the work place. That is what God is.

The conquest of the Holy Land is brutal barbarism to include slavery, rape, genocide and infanticide, all not only condoned by God but made possible by Him. There was a native population that was destroyed, children bashed upon rocks, women made into sexual slaves, fathers eliminated.
That's the history recorded in the bible.

According to your last statement, faith brought down the Roman Empire and faith protected the Roman Empire. Was God confused? Undecided? Amused?

Okay....so then it would be POSSIBLE for God to "change the past"....and make the Bible inaccurate?
Erase Adam & Eve and replace them with a line of hominids from Austraopithecenes to Cro-magnon? Wipe out Noah's flood and make it nothing more than a myth. NOT stop the Earth from rotating and thus disprove the claim that Joshua "stopped the Sun in the sky for a day"....

it would even be possible that He could change history....and see to it that Jesus was never resurrected and it was all propaganda by his zealous Apostles???

Right? It WOULD be "possible"....for God to make the Bible false?

    Right?

    LOL

Apparently you are not rading genesis comprehensively, and your comments pertain to Bible book reports from the Middle Ages, which do not make scientific nor academic sense.

But you are not claiming that,...
You are trying to say Genesis does not make scientific sense, which it does.

The first verse has been proven by the Big Bang Theory, that the Universe has NOT always been there, but had a definite beginning.

    No.

The "past": is the image of Reality, called the Truth.

The son of our god IS Truth, the ideal which images what was real as the Cosmos forever unfolds into the future.

Yes, these pagan societies were to be eliminated and that did happen when all the Roman World became Universal Christianity for the 1000 years before the Renaissance.

In the future to come, pagans practicing sexual immorality will become extinct as a species of modern man that will have disappeared with the advent of Homoiousian sapiens.
Sexual immorality destroys families and produces barbarian off spring which destroy human advancement.
This will be seen as trute, and a new paradigm for the adolescents will emerge that changes their sexual behaviors.

His father wiped out all mankind thru a massive extinction of Neanderthlas starting 40 thousand years of "days and nights" ago.

Then, Modern man "flooded" Out-of-Africa to the tops of the highest mountains and across all the world.
In his head he held the visions of all the animals that previously were the domain of a world view held by Neanderthals.

So what produced the barbarian activity of the conquerors of the Holy Land?
That would be God. At least according to scripture.

A much better answer would have been as you stated above. I don't know.
Your biased opinions and illogical thought are not needed when the simple answer is I DON'T KNOW!!

I haven't seen much correlation to history from the show. I've searched for things said while the show is going on and many things are simply not recorded in historical records.

    Now you consider my answers to be biase on what? You want me to say I don't know to your questions? As I have pointed out there is no biase and I have answers to your questions;

Yes, Muslim conquest of the Holy Land resulted with the extermination of Jewish and Christian tribes especially in what is now Saudi Arabia. Slavery and degradation of women will persist and continue up to this day. The Bible recorded it so that we will not forget with the hope that we will change to become more civil.
God was not confuse, men were and men continue with their wickedness, but God has always left hope to all good men that in the end good will triumph over wickedness. That is why when all seem lost and hopeless against all odds for unexplainable reasons the forces of good suddenly defeats the wickedness of a thousand men.
