Correction: So stay tuned for more discoveries by our gifted marine geologists in their quest into their never ending curiosity over finding out the truth concerning The Great Flood of Noah as written in the Scriptures.

Like these two who categorically conclude that the event they describe was not in any sense global.
    I'll stay tuned!

If as in the part in bold, you accept that the bible account is not literally true, but not
"utterly false"* then there is no further discussion needed here. Most of the bible probably has some grain of fact upon which the fantastical stories are built.

It was my impression you thought the bible was true, complete, accurate and the word of god.

    * misuse of the word "plausible" noted. The world wide flood, ark, dove etc is not plausible, and the flooding of the black sea only adds evidence that it didnt happen.

** which fraction would you think is true? The Black Sea filling (not likely at the speed they say)
makes for an event far far different from the biblical account.

Why yes indeed! My faith tells me the Bible is true, complete, accurate and the Word of God...oh yes indeed!

The falsity of the story as written was known a very long time ago, and needs no further work.
Try to catch up with the 19th century already!

So you think there was a world wide flood. The work of your two heroic geologists indicates the story could have come from the salt water intrusion into the fresh water black sea.

Id think you'd be eager to avoid their work, as it further puts the lie to the bible story.

As for "accurate', dodge noted when you didnt want to talk about whether a figure like
"30 cubits" is accurate, or could be.

Try again tho. Do you think the bible is 100^ accurate saying "30 cubits"?
    100.00000000000%?

That is not a statement from me, it was part of the article I read and so my position has always been the Bible account of Noah's Flood is literally true...oh yes indeed!

So you disagree with the men you cited to prove you were right!
    Got it.

So why did you cite them as proof of your position?
You shot yourself in the foot....oh yes indeed!

So why do you try to bring out evidence, when there isnt any?

I said not one geologist on earth can find your "flood" and all you did was find two whose work
shows that IF the story had any basis, its not a world wide flood.

Do you have a "theory" as to why such an enormous event could leave no sign?

Who in Xtian mythology is said to be the Father of Lies, the Great Deceiver, etc?

Would he not lead those who are duped by Him, to believe and spread great lies, that
he may further discredit the Faith?

Id believe fundies are the minions of Satan before Id believe they were acting for the Lord.

Blind faith, stubborn unreason, the habitual spreading of lies, none of those seem like what
    "god" would want.

The truth is there is not absolute evidence of the Great Flood nor is there absolute evidence there was never a Great Flood...how bout dem apples...eh?...lol

There is still more work to be done.

But what we do have is discoveries that make the Great Flood story plausible but of course there are still more discoveries to be made to further illustrate the authenticity of the Great Flood as written in the Scriptures of the Holy Bible.

Hopefully when guys like you receive them you won't do what you do best...be in denial of them!

Why are you replying to a post not addressed to you? Nobody here, and has been stated many times, wants your biased opinion. Yes indeed.

Wait a second, you point to an article to prove your point, and they don't confirm the bible story, only that it is not utterly false? Meaning something in the story is possible true.
Well indeed, it does show you really don't have any proof. Yes indeed.

To clear up your misunderstanding of WanRen's post and besides who made you the hall monitor on the thread I started?

Any questions, responses by other members even though not directed at me, I will at my discretion respond to it or not on the threads that I started.

And funny for a guy that doesn't want my "biased opinions"...as you put it, you sure have been coming here a lot and responding to posts that originates from me. One would think that if a person doesn't want biased opinions they would just ignore coming to a thread that they feel is just plain biased.

The reality is you just like to be antagonistic...right?

If they are saying it is not utterly false then it means The Great Flood of Noah is plausible...right? That's the whole point I was making...duh!...oh yes indeed! lol

    No. Sorry.
They said although the research proved the flood story was NOT literally true, it may have inspired it.
Oh, and thanks again for providing my new signature. It has already come in handy on another thread.
No one will use Einstein as a lame excuse for their faith again!

And hopefully when once again it is proved to never have happened you won't get confused again and mistake it as proof that it did.
    It's so embarrassing!

During Noah's time there were no seas on Earth. Everyone lived on what's now the ocean floor. Then the water came and filled up the ocean basins. All life died as a result except for what was in the ark. Then the Earth pushed up the land masses and Noah was able to get out of the ark. So the result of the flood is still with us in the form of the oceans. It's all there in Genesis 1:6-12.

Well genius, those questions were 6 months ago, in the 3rd thread. You could not keep up and WanRen filled in for you. And did just a good a job as you're doing. Not a compliment, BTW.

No wonder people laugh. An 11 year old child could explain the impossibility of the above.
