All I am suggesting, is if you want to know something about the Bible, then go straight to the source. YOU go straight to the source. That is the instructions I have received to be given to YOU.

As for the Scottie thing: You can't handle a little sarcasm and mockery directed at you?

Well I can't argue against your beliefs or opinions but it is the written words of Jesus .. (Remember the verse ?)

You don't believe you can be led or gain insight by the Holy Spirit ?

Well no one really has to say God told me this or that but rather use your inspiration to do your works. How about Jesus ? Do you think he was speaking for God or no ? ...Or rather should I say tuned in ?

Salvation is here and now and I don't disagree with what you wrote here.

Examples ? Are you sure that is faith ? What is Blind faith ?

How can you know the Kingdom of God inside you if you don't believe in it or have faith that Jesus wasn't insane and or lied ?

No, not at this point in my life but that is because I realize that Jesus makes sense. Don't kid yourself, Belief does indeed keep people from doing bad things if they fear it. So yes, I might not do evil but I certainly wouldn't even bother to love my enemies if I thought there was no point, please, you ? Don't tell me the point is morality because that wouldn't trump 'logically absurd' in the case that you had no reason to pray for your enemies. What do you say to that ?

Some people think that it is good for society to kill bad people, let's say rapists or pedophiles, and the law certainly isn't forgiving to them so why should any Christian be forgiving to them if there is no good reason ?

    Is it more absurd than:

"But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.?"

Done ... Now let's have an interesting conversation. ..And please don't give me that condescending attitude, I see right through that nonsense, papa.

Do you folks actually believe the "spirit" of God is an actual being, rather then just a force of God?

Unfortunately, in the case of the Bible, the source has been altered over the years.

Please also get intstruction on which passages (just a couple of the important ones) best represent what Jesus taught in relation to how one gets into heaven.

I believe it is some kind of entity and a force.

I talked to the Holy Spirit very briefly about your most recent request above, and the instructions that I am to pass on to you is this: "open the Bible and I will guide you to what you NEED to KNOW." Now what that means, I have no idea. Mine is not to reason why, but to merely do and eventually die. So I guess you are stuck with figuring that one out.

As you know, I'm not a believer in trinity.

Where in the New Testament does this idea come from?

Pretty much everywhere I've looked it is a force of God bestowing - knowledge - power - invigorating life force, etc.

I think your definition is just fine, just as good as mine if not better.

The word trinity itself isn't in the Bible that I am aware. I think that is just a made up word for the father, son, Holy Spirit.

    Matthew 28:19

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"

There many christian concept that are not in the bible, and many more that were created by church leaders after jesus's death. The whole concept of Hell for example, is taken from Norse mythology. Hell is the Norse Goddess of Torture. She is the Daughter of Loki. When trying to convert the Norse to Christianity, the church leaders took the concept of Hell, who is a goddess of torture, and build it into Christian Dogma to frighten the Norse into coverting. The concept of Hell is never mentioned before the new testament because it didn't exist. The Hebrews beleived that the punishment for sin was not being allowed to be with god.
