Mine has it right on the front page, it shows both the state and country of my birth. It's to the right of my gender, and just below my DOB. Thanks for reminding me, it needs to be renewed this month.

Could this be the final nail in the coffin for the "birther" conspiracy?

A video featured on the White House website included a surprising glimpse at President Obama's passport, showing further evidence that he was indeed born in the United States.

Seen briefly in a West Wing Week video posted over the weekend, the "Summer Edition" was dedicated to answering questions from regular citizens.

One of the questions, asked by Johnathan Talcott, of Pittsburgh, PA, concerned the President's passport. To answer it, Jordan Whichard, an administration trip coordinator, shows where Obama's passport is kept and the document itself.

A close-up of the passport reveals only a few bits of information about the President, but they are specific to the question of where and when he was born.

The document shows that his nationality is "United States of America," that he was born on August 4, 1961 and that his "Place of Birth" was Hawaii, U.S.A.

the information on a U.S. passport comes directly from the person who is applying for it. The state department accepts the submissions as complete with only a certified birth certificate.

 

That information is totally irrelevant to what he had back in his days traveling to Pakistan and Indonesia. Never the less, his school record in Jakarta definitely said his citizenship was Indonesian. So putting this all in perspective, even if he was born in Hawaii, he was still not a natural born citizen and eligible for Article 2 Section 1 because of his fathers British Nationality and allegiance to the British Crown.

There was NEVER any state department ban on US citizens traveling to Indonesia or pakistan.

Look it up on their website.

There was a warniing that there would be delays because of VISA glitches.

Not once did I say there was a travel ban to Indonesia and Pakistan.....not once. Where do you get the idea I said it? Please answer in fine detail.

You haven't been paying attention. There is another birther thread that addresses this. Even Obama can't get the lfbc. If he requests a bc, he gets a colb. It would take a court order. And no Birther has convinced any judge there is enough evidence to warrant such a court order. Know what that means? Obama is the real deal. GTF over it.

 

Actually, he and (the media with his permission) can inspect the original in HI at anytime, and no law bars HI from releasing a certified copy of the LFBC. It's just not their current policy.

That clears it up then. A certified BC had to be shown in order to get a passport. So he's got the COLB, which is what the state of HI issues when requested, and he's got a passport. Let me guess, the Birthers are gonna say the passport is fake. Lame brained idiots. All of 'em.

I know you like to change the subject when a Birther point is so easily disproven but we were talking about what is shown on a Passport- and Obama's passport clearly shows that according to the State Department President Obama was born in Hawaii.

I will take the authentic proof of citizenship from the U.S. State Department over an unauthenticated, and unofficial documentation not completed by anyone in authority in Indonesia.

And of course your whole fantasy about his daddy's citizenship has been proven wrong over and over.

 

I care because it is a constitutional issue, and if he is not a genuine citizen, then he should be impeached. He called real Americans the enemy of latino's in Nevada, he should be impeached for that. He went on a great apology tour, he should be impeached for that. He bowed to the Saudi King and a communist dictator, he should be impeached for that. Need I go on? What we do know is if the original birth certiicate is released and when it shows President Obama was born in Hawaii Birthers will not accept that as proof either.
