However - It should not be changed because of Obama. If it does come out that he was not born in the US - which is unlikely - it means that he lied over and over to the American people and should be removed.

How is that better than Bush? Bush had a successful long-term marriage, two kids, and no scandals in his past.

I will say something nice about Obama, though. I do applaud the way he's set a good example of being an involved father----probably due to the absent jerk of a father he had. But whatever the reason, he's talked to the black community about the responsibilities of being a father...and I applaud him for that. IMO, that's the best thing he's done as president.

 

They did envision being a Real American, and not a freedom hating leftist loser.

I think Bush was also a good example of a President who showed family values by his actions, just like Obama.

I just think Bush was a terrible President. That is how I measure Obama professionally vs personally.

Apuzzo and NB have already stated that no matter what Obama is not a natural born citizen. Others have already stated that once the long form is released the hospitals and doctor records have to confirm every detail.

The day the long form is released, every birther who posts on these boards will have reasons why that isn't acceptable or sufficient.

I think Obama is the worst we've had in my lifetime. But then everybody has their own opinion about these things.....

Bush (Cheney) opened the door to a police state with homeland security and TSA, and Obama has done nothinmg to close the door and is instead expanding it. That said, Bush did the right thing until he did that, and Obama has done nothing right and is ten times as bad as Bush with less than half his character.

President Obama has only been legally elected once so far.

Both of them received the majority of votes, the majority of Electoral College votes, Congress confirmed both of them(however no one objected to Obama confirmation as opposed to Bush's) and the Chief Justice swore them both in.

So yes- Bush was elected twice as many times as Obama so far.

 

I will take your word for it. If you say thats all you need, then clearly that is all you need.

I will revise my comments as I was clearly wrong before- In my opinion most Birthers will find reasons not to accept the original birth certificate when it is released.
