I think it's possible (micro wave oven is a perfect example of a directed beam machine), the power neccessary would have to come right out of Tesla's lab to be feasible at the level neccessary to knock down buildings like WTC. Based on what I saw in the videos, a jet hit the tower, but it wasn't the typical commercial/passenger type configuration. IMO, it was a military drone (no windows) probably flown from the E-4B or AWAC orbiting the east coast.
