Putin feels it would be better negotiating with the army than with the drug addicts and neo Nazis in Kiev who are holding the people hostage.

He said the Americans have advised the 'Nationalsts' to mobilize civilians so they can accuse the Russians later on of attacking civilians. He feels that the Ukrainian military must not allow their government to use their “children, wives and loved ones as human shields” –

“Take the power into your own hands!” the Russian president said, arguing that the army would be a better negotiating partner than “a bunch of drug addicts and neo-Nazis” who he claimed have “entrenched themselves in Kiev,” and have been holding the people “hostage.”

Zalensky in the meantime is crying that it's the last time he'll be seen alive which I thought was funny, until I read that 10 thousand Chechnyans are now entering Kiev. I'd be crying too.

How can you swallow this garbage? I guess you can't, since you seem to be vomiting it up all over these forums. The west certainly made mistakes over the decades that didn't help matters, but Putin is the villain here that is causing needless death and destruction. Look at the people being killed. They are not "Nazis and drug addicts". They are regular people, like people anywhere else in the world. And Putin and his cronies are destroying their lives.

Maybe y'all would happier if Putin went all "Shock and Awe" on Ukraine.

He is going all "shock and awe" on them. Reasonable people around the world recognize and condemn his madness. I just got a mass email from Anna Cher, a Russian immigrant who lives and teaches in New York (and offers online Russian courses). You can see for yourself what she and her family in Russia think about this:

    Привет, друзья!

Думаю, вы все в курсе страшных событий, которые происходят в течение последних двух дней. Моя семья живёт в Ростовской области, в четырёх часах от границы с Украиной, и я никогда в жизни не обновляла новостную ленту так часто, как в эти два дня. То, что сделал президент России, не поддаётся пониманию нормального человека. Никто из моего окружения не поддерживает его действий, и мы, также как и весь остальной мир, находимся в совершенном ужасе от происходящего.

    ...
    Translation:

    Hello friends!

I think you are all aware of the terrible events that have been taking place over the past two days. My family lives in the Rostov region, four hours from the border with Ukraine, and I have never updated the news feed as often in my life as in these two days. What the President of Russia did is beyond the understanding of a normal person. No one around me supports his actions, and we, like the rest of the world, are completely horrified by what is happening.

Neither are they being made to do it.

Here, for a trip down Memory Lane, is what shock and awe looks like.

Being made to do it? Do tell. Who is "making" Russians protest against Putler's war of aggression? Who is "making" commit the crime of free speech in Russia?

what is not ending is that strikes are going to wipe out the main neobanderist figures. Parubiy is certainly already in Poland.
It would be good that the banderist section of Brody cemetery is razed to the ground so no remain is left and lime poured deep in it.

What people are being killed, the ones at the military installations? The civilian areas are not being hit, although the Americans did teach the nationalists to use civilians as human shields for propaganda purposes.

Then again, maybe you're thinking of what we did to Raqqa or Mosul? Oh that's right, your precious little minds aren't supposed to know about these things.

Anyway, the Chechnyans have been itching to go in to punish the nationalists for what they were doing to the civilians in Donbass, and now it seems they've been given the go ahead. This should be quite interesting.

Here it is, Putin's call to any officer in the Ukranian military, with ambitions to become an autocrat-- so long as they are willing to lick Putin's boots.

Oh the irony.....its funny......got a suggestion.....why don't Putin's generals just put a bullet through the mad phuckers skull....at least then he doesn't have to worry about it all.....and everyone can go home and live in peace...

They can take the body out and feed it to the dogs.

Economic sanctions can work. People are loyal as long as they are ok in their pockets. The Russian Tsar was loved too by many until hunger hit the lands. That is why I think Putin now is sending the army from Chechnya. He was not expecting that many casualties. Too many dead russians does not sit well at home with his base.
