The problem could have been resolved without a war. The Europeans could have investigated the atrocities that have been going on for eight years against the Russians in Ukraine but they didn't.

They could have looked at Russia's legitimate security concerns and started talks about a reduction in arms and lessening the threats to Russia, but they didn't.

They could have pressured Zalensky to start talks with Donetsk and Lugansk as specified in the Minsk agreement, but they didn't.

The average Ukrainian has nothing to do with them. Some might prefer the EU - especially in the West where there is an immense cultural difference from the Ukrainians in the East and South who are predominantly Russian.

What worries Putin is that Zalensky seems to be getting his orders from Washington and wants to prolong the war. This might throw Ukraine into a civil war - which would be exactly what the neo cons want. It would account for why they keep sending Ukraine arms.

 

It is the average Ukrainian that has decide to pick up rifles and fight the invaders. Just because there may be some neo nazis in the ranks, that does not mean the vast majority are. You could say the same thing of every political rally here in the US. There are always some neo nazis on the right or some city burning morons on the left, but the vast majority are there just doing what they believe in.

What I do know is that the mega criminal Ihor Kolomoisky bankrolled it and that he was wanted in Russia for bombing Slaviansk with White Phosphorus. He's also a suspect in the shoot down of the Maylasian airliner.

Anyway a Russian did post a telephone call of Kolomoisky telling someone later on to kill the survivors in the hospitals.

No pressure on Ukraine by the US to bring them to trial even though Russia has so much visual proof. When Trump's lawyer Guiliani, who as District Attorney in New York City destroyed the Italian mafia and cleaned up the city went to investigate the criminals in Ukraine, the liberal medias ripped him to pieces.
