Yes, what you did is not trust the science until you saw for yourself and made your own decision. So, why can't others do the very same thing, question the science and make their own decision, same as you?

This is an interesting reply of yours. Do you have proof to back up your claim that US agencies are not providing the data you claim they are not providing?

You don't need to be uncomfortable with the title of this thread, because this thread doesn't aspire to be a statistical one that doesn't get into politics, because we already have one like this: yours (which is very good). So this one is different, because politics do influence the behavior of Americans regarding Covid-19. So we can have threads that address that part too. The more the better.

LOL. I was basically accusing the left leaning MSM of being very selective in their reporting. As in my example, the MSM reported about the mother in Florida who gave her daughter Hydroxychloroquine and then the daughter died but failed to report a medical study published right around that same timeframe that there was some benefit to Hydrox. And, in Detroit, not too long ago, ABC news used Facebook to ask the local area for horror stories about anyone who refused vaccines and then wound up in the hospital and died. That by itself is biased because they specifically requested those horror stories but did not ask the public for any horror stories connected with the vaccines. So, after they asked the local public their biased question, ABC was surprised to find out that most of the stories they received on Facebook were indeed horror stories about the vaccines and then the Facebook posts were all of as sudden deleted and mysteriously vanished because they did not fit the agenda the lefty media were trying to push. There are all kinds of horror stories out there regarding the vaccines but the FDA, CDC, the Biden Administration, and the lefty media sweep those under the rug because they don't want the public to know about them.

Reports of death after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. More than 432 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through November 8, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 9,549 reports of death (0.0022%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.
Selected Adverse Events Reported after COVID-19 Vaccination | CDC.

    ...
They also give the issues they know about for all reactions to the vaccine. So your statement appears to be false.

Then put it on the news that over 9500 people have died from the vaccines. They won't because it doesn't fit their agenda of pushing vaccines. Do you want one of those 9500 people to be you or a close friend or family member? With over 9500 dead, not even counting the tens of thousands who have suffered severe reactions to the vaccines, don't people have the right to decide whether they want to risk the vaccine or the virus? Should they be fired from their jobs because they are afraid of the vaccines? And, it's not even about public health because the vaccines do nothing to stop the spread of the virus. That's the biggest point. It's not about an unvaccinated person spreading the virus to others because the vaccinated also spread the virus to others.

    It's on their website.
How does a person/organization put something on the news? The news organization determines what they air/write.

Everyone has a right to decide on the vaccine. As for getting fired? Anyone can get fired from a job for violating company policy. Unless they have a union to back them.

But I proven that the data is there for anyone to see. Your claim is it's being hidden. Which it's not.

EDIT: I am guessing you won't bother with reading the data at the link.
Here's some info on number of doses given.

... As of November 4, 2021, more than 15.7 million doses of the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the United States.
    ...
    • To date, two confirmed cases of TTS following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Moderna) have been reported to VAERS after more than 409 million doses of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines administered in the United States. Based on available data, there is not an increased risk for TTS after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.
    ...
So over 424 million doses have been administered.
How many problems do you think there have been?

Lets put a statistical number to your concern.

That is EXACTLY my point. The CDC, FDA, Biden administration, and the MSM do NOT put statistical numbers out there because they are too busy covering them up because it would hurt their vaccination drive. Why don't they tell us what the numbers are? The best they do is give us a complicated formula people have to figure out for themselves and say, "Oh it's a very small number, less than 1%". Well, less than 1% of people actually die from Covid, so that is also, "a very small number, less than 1%". They purposely mislead people by saying that over 760,000 people have died from Covid but as far as vaccine deaths or severe adverse reactions go, "Oh it's a very small number, less than 1%". Why aren't they upfront with what the actual numbers are?

You wouldn't need to verify if you trusted the science. You're really making a fool out of yourself. Just admit, you won't trust the experts unless you, as layman, verify it for yourself. And yet you deny others the very same right that you exercised.

It's not difficult to figure out.
The CDC even gives you the % of deaths on their website. A link I gave to you.
    ,,,
More than 442 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through November 15, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 9,810 reports of death (0.0022%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.
    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety/adverse-events.html

Surely one of the far RW news sights have posted numbers you can use.

How many do you think overall have had negative effects from the vaccine?
    10K, 20K, 100K?

100K/424M * 100% = 0.2%. If indeed its even close to the actual number. Not likely.

The vast majority of these deaths reported to VAERS have absolutely nothing to do with the vaccines. People keep dying of other causes. This vaccine only protects against Covid-19, not against cancer, cardiovascular diseases, etc etc etc.

Unfortunately, VAERS asks ANY death to be reported so some doctors do... but these are coincidental deaths... correlation, not causality. Real deaths caused by the vaccines are extremely rare. More like 0.000002%.- a handful of cases.

The VAERS receiving a report of a death, in no way, shape, or form, is equal to saying that the death was caused by the vaccine. People die. They keep dying, vaccine or not, of unrelated causes.

What you say may be true. But the CDC posted the numbers on their website.
And I'm showing just how little effect statistically there are negative results from the vaccine.

You do realize that an accusation is not the same as proof, right?

Also, American Greatness (written by white supremacist nutbag Ned Ryun who begged me over email in 2012 to help him learn to be a pollster so he could make money.... lol....) is about as hardcore trump loving off the walls as it gets.

Really, you claim to be independent and yet you post such trivial rot that doesn't pass a smell test anywhere.

So, I ask again: do you have proof to back up your claims?

Bingo. That's the rub, right there.

And I will point out that this statistic is far better than the mortality rate we expected from the polio vaccine.

Yes, you would do the same, trust yourself over the science. And yet you would refuse others to have the very same choice that you made in coming to your own conclusion.

I don't watch right wing media. Why can't the CDC post the actual numbers instead of complicated formulas? Why can't the Biden administration tell us the actual numbers? Why can't the MSM tell us the numbers? Answer: They don't want to because it will hurt their vaccination drive if they were to tell the truth. So, hide it all as best as they can.

I showed you proof but you are asking for stupid proof. I cannot prove you didn't murder anyone. Hell, I can't prove that I didn't murder anyone. The proof is there for you to see if you just open your eyes or take off your blue tinted glasses.

I would trust but verify, and that is what I did, millions have got the vaccine now, and it has proven to be effective

LOL. You did not trust because you had to verify. This is really simple logic. You didn't trust the science and the experts and you formed your own opinion, something that you refuse to let others do. They are just expected to trust the science and not verify.

For whatever it's worth, I actually agree with you. We should NOT trust the science and the experts, the Biden Administration, or the lefty MSM. We should all verify and come to our own conclusion and we should not be punished for verifying the information and coming to our own conclusion. Example: Vaccines have killed people and vaccines have caused many severe adverse reactions. Therefore, it is up to us to decide if we want to risk the vaccine or the virus. After "verifying" the science myself, I concluded that I would rather take the risk with the vaccines (just got my booster the other day) than the risk of the virus but since vaccines do kill people, do cause many severe adverse reactions, and we don't know the long term side effects, I totally understand why some would rather risk the virus than the vaccines.

And, since the vaccines do nothing to stop the virus from spreading, it is not necessary to punish those who choose to go unvaccinated with vaccine mandates, passports, or getting fired from their jobs when the science (from the CDC itself) shows that vaccinated people spread the virus and the vaccines do not stop the spread of the virus.

When are people forced to give child birth? People have the right to choose not to have sex. They have the right to choose several different methods of birth control (including the morning after pill) that do not involve murder. Why do we need to set up a choice of childbirth or murder? It doesn't have to be that way. But, murder is still murder. People do not have the right to commit murder just because the murder benefits them. However, I would be open to allowing c-sections instead of childbirth. But, I will take your deflection as an admission that I was right about what we were originally talking about.
