I’m not saying I disagree with what your saying, but in this case this looks to me like this child has some mental issues.

 

There is no brutality, the officers acted correctly.

And did the right thing, she was resisting like hell.

 

Let me guess. Another black person broke the law and resisted arrest.

There is no reason EVER, to pepper spray someone AFTER they are and cuffed. NONE

 

My take is, in todays leftist crazed world, pepper spray is far more defendable then the police laying a hand on a young girl. There would have certainly been far more hyperbolic bullshit if any type physical restrain would have been used..

The constant bitching about how an officer restrains young to old is over scrutinized to the point they can't even do the job other than ask nice and if not cooperated with the safest alternative is to let the perp walk away.

 

She would have got a long way walking away with her hands cuffed behind her back while 9 officers stood and watched. But hey, a nine year old girl in hand cuffs behind her back is a dangerous threat to nine police officers

 

Variations on that theme have repeated countless times in this country over many years now. Whether by tazer or by pepper spray, too many cops have shown they cannot reason with citizens. Don't taze me bro inevitably leads to being tazed.

 

How would you have handled a NINE year old irate girl threatening to kill mommy, hmmmm?

Either way, it wouldn't have made much difference in the leftist world, that's my point.. Police are damned from the get-go no matter how it was handled..

 

I do see your point, and I am sympathetic to the cops and the job they have, but there are too many examples of men in uniform abusing their power.

It would be easy to make the case that many of those in uniform do not belong there, are not fit to wear the uniform, but that's another matter.

Well, pretty hard to tell what sort of person they are much of the time.. And there is a pretty large demand for candidates and growing every year.. So there will be a certain percentage of bad cops no matter how they are screened..

Maybe it be to our advantage to comply a little more a resist a little less.. I know it worked for me on occasion..

 

For you this is all about 'leftist media' damning police. For actual people here and across the country, its about that nine year old girl being pepper sprayed when she should not have been and about a bunch of cops who decided to reach for that pepper spray, and a police department that might have trained them to reach for that pepper spray or defended it.

 

It's worked for me many times, but my grandfather was a cop and he was influential in my upbringing.

The other side of the coin, especially for innocent people, is that rights must be asserted for them to have any chance of being respected.

 

So, again.. How would you have handled it?

 

wait until she gets tired or cools off, call someone else in to help handle her with more experience, if you are just too stupid or ignorant to figure out how to outwit or calm a handcuffed nine year old girl. Just about anything.

 

And that Sir, is just were the problems lay! Cops jobs would be far less complicated if parents would teach them how to deal with situations and emotions.. Jezz, how many times have I witness 10 year old telling their parents to Fk off, calling them retard and stupid and throwing wild eyed fits in public..

This is how liberal folk put up with so they can preach nonsense about parental abuse and all the while they themselves are subjected and accept their child's abusive behavior..

Ya that's the way it works.. So the child threatens to kill mommy and the police, like, follower the child around pleading with it to calm down and wait for DFS to arrive and then they walk along with the police attempting to calm the child down until someone else like maybe a Clown with a red nose and funny horn shows up with ice cream and they just parade behind the screaming child like some sort of freak show..

 

Was she going to use the powers of mind control after escaping from the police to kill her mother

 

Who knows? I know a 14 year old "Now" that's been in lil boys prison for 13 months now for threatening to kill people.. So the lil girl is actually getting off pretty easy "SO FAR" anyway!!

 

Did that 12/13 year old boy kill anyone while his hands were hand cuffed behind his back?
