And this is why we have a BLM movement. When someone is fully restrained, pepper spraying them is tantamount to hitting them with a nightstick. It serves no purpose other than a big FU to them.

We have the BLM movement because African Americans would rather play the victim to their political advantage than address the real problems of violent criminality in their culture.

It isnt about the crime, its about the treatment of people of color. The black community sees a bias in policing, which becomes a bias in arrests, and their treatment while being arrested.

I’m not supporting either side, I’m just pointing out their reasoning,. Every case should be evaluated individually based on the merits of that case. But we also must remember that less than 40 years ago, segregation was real, and was lawful. You can make the claim that it isnt today, but you also have to understand that a lot of people who were segregated are still alive today, and that memory still exists for them.

 

Violent crime overwhelmingly, out of all proportion to their numbers. There is no bias, the police go where the crime is. As you say, 40 YEARS ago (I'd argue a lot longer than that, where was the segregation in 1981?), the people who actually suffered genuine discrimination are not out with BLM and not committing violent crime.

 

And other possibility, her parents have taught her to hate all police officers because they want to kill her.

Why weren't the parents controlling their child? Then, the police wouldn't have been called to handle what was, essentially, a family problem. In lieu of that, call in the counselors, because this is a defund city, right? But tell them they can't bring anything to defend themselves.

This makes the behaviour of those two officers even worse than first appeared. They are called because of a domestic abuse situation and then use another form of physical abuse on a nine year old girl who has just said that her mum stabbed her father and the mum confirms they her and her partner were being violent in front of their daughter. Those two officers set a great example of better behaviour.

 

They didn't treat her as a child because she was HUGE. And can anyone prove to me that a white person would have been treated any differently? In this case, the Floyd case and every other.
