How do you know what the intelligence agencies - all of them - said? Did said intelligence agencies report directly to you, or have you read about the above in newspapers? Maybe in the same newspapers you call FAKE NEWS MEDIA?

 

Ignoring the Supreme Law of the Land here in the US, you would be correct.

Pretending that military aggression is legal, you would be correct.

 

SCOTUS is the final arbiter of constitutionality and they said declaring war is not necessary.

 

I never said declaring war is necessary for POTUS to use military force to protect US interests. Article II of the Constitution allows that long before the legal sophistry of AUMF was written.

The POTUS may act independently, but the document demands the advice and consent of Congress to continue such action. The War Powers Act of 1973 also demands POTUS explain his military actions, but Congress and POTUS routinely violate constitutional and statutory obligations.

The Constitution demands that if there is to be a war, Congress must declare it.

SCOTUS is as corrupt as the other 2 branches of government.

 

At least we resolved declaring war isn't necessary.
