Likely they wouldn't care. People don't tend to focus on such things unless they want to demonize them for other reasons. You go back in time, and girls were being married off well before 18, likely many of the common and celebrated names in American history. It's something rarely focused on except to make a political point against someone. Such things are not what anyone is remembered or celebrated for.

I think we all- even you- can agree that those participating in anyway in child pornography in anyway are disgusting and should be prosecuted and imprisoned.

If this guy is guilty I hope he goes away for a long, long time.

But San Francisco didn't name a day for a known Child Pornography viewer, they named a day for the man for his accomplishments- and now it turns out that he possessed child porn.

Most tend to hold their rock and roll icons to a different standard than they do their politicians. Drugs and sex go well with rock and roll, not so well with politicians.
