Yes, we end up with patterns set by bottom of the barrel white male legislatures that implemented red lining for years.
Where do the Black politicians that are elected to Congress live? Where do wealthy successful business people choose to live? Nobody is legislating those choices.
Wow! They DID legislate those choices. Read about redlining. Ending red lining is great, but it is not thoroughly followed. It doesn't mean that neighborhood organizations have to admit black people. And it does NOT mean that housing integration suddenly takes place. Plus, there are rich white neighborhoods where a black person simply delivering newspapers is in danger, because of the racist views of the neighborhood. Racism includes those of various races not being welcome. People don't gravitate toward places where they are not welcome.
I'm just going to address one part of your post. A black person is much safer on any given day at any given time going into a white neighborhood then a white person is venturing into a black neighborhood. The white person is much more likely to be victimized in a black neighborhood.
A Black person is more likely to get shot in a Black neighborhood, it happens nearly every day/night on our inner cities.
Blacks have been subjected to outrageous racism from whites from the day this nation was born. Now you want love! How about earning it by requiring equal treatment from our police, our neighborhoods, our courts, our businesses, etc.
I noticed you did not try to dispute what I said only tried to justify it. So you're going to blame all whites for the action of a few? You better not try to do that even if the majority of actions are from the other side because your buddies will call you a racist. So basically what you're saying is it's your turn now whitey.
do you have an example of segregation that worked better? I do not want a country that as I travel, some get upset due to my race because I am there - this is the United States of America
I don't see that. Trump was cheered by white supremacists. We're seeing a continuation of white nationalist action and major opposition to holding police accountable and other such basics.
LOL!! I do think we can all do something. So, in that sense, yes we each should be doing more. BUT, that's not the same as blame. I DO believe there there are elements that absolutely deserve blame of that sort.
There was no cheering of Biden by communists. Biden supports Ukraine. Please remember that Putin LOVED TRUMP!! You have to get your silly realigned.
You're getting off topic from admitting the fact that you know that a black is much safer walking in a white neighborhood then vice versa.
We were once FAR more tolerant of white supremacists. From what I know about Lincoln, he was OK for the time. Remember that at that time racists went to CIVIL WAR over racism.
Bickering about who hates whom more is not acceptable. We need an end of racism, not your excuses for more hate.
You're the one that sitting here making excuses for reality. I'm just stating simple facts it's not my fault if you hate to hear the truth
