You are part of America. And, you aren't alone in many of your beliefs.

I don't even slightly agree with you ... EXCEPT, that you make a clear case for the importance of working on reducing racism.

Once again, you are making the case for the importance of working on reducing racism.

Equal treatment is granted by our constitution as a human right.

You're the one that mentioned the danger to blacks in a white neighborhood and I simply pointed out to you that whites and a black neighborhood are statistically and far more danger and evidently that hurts your feelings and makes you imply that I'm a racist.

That's actually called being a realist because I'm simply pointing out the fact that there's statistically more risk to a white person in a black neighborhood.

But you don't have to take my word for it you can form some real world experiences and go for a walk in the hood and see. Of course I would not wish any harm on you so I would recommend that you probably should not do that.

Whites have the upper hand in America, and have had that upper hand since before our constitution was ratified. It's ridiculous to suggest that racism will be reduced without white America doing work.

Whining about who hates whom leads absolutely nowhere we could EVER want to go.

Whining about racism when there is no such thing holding them back is equally as stupid.
There may be racist people but the only institutional racism under law is against whites.

It's almost like you think we've never had a black president and there's not quite a few black members and high positions of authority in our government system....

He's trying that tired and failed liberal argument that says that blacks can't be racist because they don't hold any power....

False on so many different levels. But it's another way to just blame white people for all the racism in the world

Anyone who wants to racially segregate themselves should have the right to do so, so long as they aren't using violence or coercion against others. What this means is that racially homogenous communities will have to be made up of entirely private property. If you want all the 'others' out of your community to make it homogenous, you'll have to buy them out. Scaring or beating them out is and should be criminal. But if you want to group together with others and buy up a community and say 'no whites' or 'no blacks', that is and should be your right on your property. If you have public roads or public parks in your community, you will not be able to racially discriminate people from passage there, not legally or lawfully anyway. So everything will have to be private property, though perhaps can be held in some sort of 'town trust' or some other legal means of communal ownership. Perhaps an HOA could be developed that disallows the sale of property by residents to buyers of certain 'racial' backgrounds. But even that seems problematic. Most likely everything will have to be technically owned by one person to ensure the maintenance of racial homogeneity. I know I wouldn't want to live like that...

I don't think it will solve anything. But thats what experiments are for.

This is your claim. And I would point out that you do not represent black America.

But, NOBODY represents black America and nobody represents white America.

The constitution calls for equal treatment.

Reparations is a separate issue, as it is oriented to the long years of slavery, segregation, red lining of employment and housing, limited access to banking/business, etc. forming a debt that is being added to even today.

One can be opposed to reparations while recognizing the serious racism of today, racism that needs to be reduced.

    This isn't some new idea.

Red lining against blacks has been implemented throughout America for years. There are laws against redlining in many states now, but enforcement is almost always weak.

Besides, the idea that segregation reduces racism is too silly for words. Segregation has always been the method of excluding blacks from equality of all kinds.

Segregation is the enforcement of racism.

Having one black president certainly does NOT mean that America suddenly ended racism.

In fact, Obama did very little in using his office to reduce racism.

I don't think anyone is trying to 'reduce racism' with segregation. They're looking to protect a small portion of the world for them and their fellow racists to exist in peace. The goal would be to reduce racial conflict, and segregation could do that, much like how pain killers reduce pain without actually healing the injury. And like I said, I don't think its a good idea, but so long as its not accomplished with violence or coersion, I see no reason to not allow it. I suspect such communities will fail rapidly.

Having equal levels of racism is not a valid objective. And, this isn't a blame game.

The problem discussed here is racism and the only valid objective is to reduce racism.

Limited access to banking? Lmao. There is no banking policies that discriminate based on race. They have affirmative action which helps everyone but whites males. They were favored in COVID care with extra points of priority for simply being a POC. They can make segregated safe spaces with the scrutiny of lawsuits. They are treated better than whites.

Reparations isn’t an issue. They don’t deserve reparations but that’s another topic

Racism in America is systemic. It is seen in education, health care, our justice system from policing on up, housing, banking. It is seen in the gerrymandering carried out by numerous red states with the explicit Republican purpose of reducing the representation of those who are black/poor - something that is clear in examining the state legislatures.

However much YOU like black people doesn't counter that.

And we can't do that as long as you act like it's all on white people and it's only coming from them.

That only proves my point. The article claims blacks are effected from Pretty much being poor. In fact everything you mentioned is an effect of poor communities. It’s not policies that say we can’t loan to blacks it’s policies that say they can’t loan to someone with nothing to loan against. That’s not racism. Being poor is their choice. There is always ways out of poverty. Poverty is also not indicative of a singular race. A white person in the same boat would have a hard time as well. Which means they are still treated equal
