There’s been at least two presidential candidates who won their party’s nomination, but lost the presidential election. Goldwater who was born in the Arizona territory and McCain born in Panama. George Romney, Mitt’s father and governor of Michigan ran for the GOP nomination in 1964, but lost out to Goldwater. He was born in Mexico. All it takes is for one of the parents to be an American citizen. Her father also served in the Marine Corps and the Army.
The Republican Party is 90% white. The Democratic Party is multicultural. Naturally Republicans wouldn’t understand about the importance of doing work in different communities. Seems to me that blacks continue to vote dem but their lot isn't much better. And here is the fun part-in many areas Latinos have become the dominant minority but democrats continue to treat blacks as MFM (most favored minorities) This is causing some crack in the Democrat alliance.
