So why deflect from the narrative to run down this rabbit hole? Since the facts of the case don't interest you, why did you bother with the personal attack then?

LOL. The fact that she pled guilty means she admits she lied for Trump aka was part of his conspiracy to interfere with the elections

Sorry it means no such thing. It does mean she was pretty sure the voting machine charge would stick.

For a moment there it almost sounded like you had normalized downloading data off of voting machines. As though it happened all the time before Trump came along.

I might be wrong but because of the nature of a conspiracy trial I think her plea has implications for the other defendants.

Downloading data from voting machines is a far cry from racketeering and conspiracy to change the outcome of an election there buddy

    Whatever makes you happy.

If she breaks the deal by lying on the witness stand, the deal is off, and she is going to prison. I doubt she is that stupid.

She pled guilty to LESSER charges than what she was charged with.

That's part of the deal. The prosecutors get her testimony to go after the higher ups and she gets to plead to something less than the actual crime she committed.

Because it was the immaterial deflection to which I had previously referred. TPM's reporting is after all accurate.
Powell agreed at the hearing to plead guilty to six counts of conspiracy to commit interference with the performance of election duties.

I think you forgot the other option. The prosecution gets a guilty plea without having to risk their bullshit racketeering and conspiracy charges don’t get slapped down in court

We disagree as to what the truth is obviously.

There are 17 other defendants that are all charged with the conspiracy charge. If the prosecution was so afraid that their charges were going to be "slapped down" then why haven't they offered deals to all 19 defendants?
If the charges are so weak then why would she or her lawyers agree to a guilty plea?

You can disagree about the "truth". But the "truth" being what it is means that at the end of the day at least one of you is going to be wrong.

My money is on the idea that you are wrong.

    Is she guilty or not?

Because I can feel your despair growing as Trump's criminal trials approach....

I figure some remaining sliver of the lawyer she used to be kicked in and she realized no jail time is better than some jail time.. all for protecting people who don't give 1 crap about her...

How do you know they haven’t? In fact I’m willing to bet they offered every single one of them pleas if they would turn on trump.

She took them probably because they were true and the punishment is minimal. The risk on their side that the prosecution somehow gets a jury that believes their bs is too great when the punishment for the other is minimal.

This is not the first time she admits to lies. Earlier she admitted to lying for Trump about "stolen elections", and she added that reasonable people would not have believed the lies. Unfortunately millions of people did believe them acted upon them in Jan-6.

You missed the most important part of the plea:

“a commitment to testify about her actions in future trials”.

Yet Powell was afraid of going forward to trial and prosecutors are known for settling with plea deals.
Now Sydney can focus on being sued for "election fraud" claims, 1.3 billion by Dominions.

    Not quite.
Her agreement to cooperate with prosecutors means that they find her information valuable.

It’s two, Hall and Powell. I suspect there will be 8-10 additional plea deals.

These Are the 19 People Charged in the Georgia Election Interference Case

    Donald Trump
The former President faces 13 criminal charges in the Georgia election meddling case, including violating state racketeering laws and soliciting a public official to violate his oath of office,

    Rudy Giuliani
In total, Giuliani faces 13 counts in the Georgia case—the same number as Trump—including violating the state’s racketeering laws,

    John Eastman
He has been charged with nine counts in Georgia, including violating the state’s racketeering laws,

    ...
    Sidney Powell
The indictment also alleges that Powell coordinated with local GOP officials and hired a forensics data firm to illegally access sensitive voting data, equipment and software stored on Dominion voting systems in Coffee County,
    https://time.com/6306031/trump-georgia-indictment-co-conspirators/

    ...
She had the lowest level of charges against her.
She plead guilty to six counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference

She now will be a State witness to others indicted.
