those bars have tons-o-sugar 20grams or more... not so healthy, especially when they refuse to say what sugar... smells like processed cane, a baddie... lookin at several different flavors, anywhere from 4-7 times more sugars than dietary fiber making up those carbs, another 'baddie'...

I don't think so.A Good Grandma is not gonna let grandkids have sweets.
That is a decision only a Mom should make.Because it interferes with her
making meals, like Dinner.Even in school lunches candy bars are not
    permitted.
Candy bars are strickly only for special times like on a summer vacation
or Holidays.Same should apply for Soda Pop.
As a Kid growing Up Pop or Soda pop was only permitted on
    summer vacations or Holidays.

Wee bit judgmental there, considering you are not a Mother, nor a Grandmother.

Besides the misogynistic blather about who makes food decisions and or dinner. While I agree about limiting sweets and soda with kids, that is my OPINION, and I wouldn't be phrasing the statement like I know the last word that others should adhere to.

    Just sayin'.

So, you had good parents. How inconvenient.
Bad parents are a great excuse for everything we do wrong. ;-)

My grandmother always had a candy dish out. Most of the time it was sugar coated spice drops. Sometimes those peppermint circles....you know..them red and white things.

The older family members like a Grandma & Grandpa have a
special duty to ensure their Grandkids grow-up well and healthy.
That means, even If Gramps like to cuss and smoke cigars.
Or Drink. Not around the Grandkids.Got it now.
This is what used to be basic stuff. Not anymore.

Yes,at around special times like Thanksgiving,Christmas, or Easter.
Or a summer weekend. Not during a school weekday.
This used to be basic stuff.Knowing how to act like a Grown-up.
But now it seems that Kids have an upper hand.
My Grandmother { The Matriarch of our Family } used to have a
saying. It went something like this .... " Been thru the Mill ".
That she had been thru the mill.Knows the best course of action.Or
    Thinking.

My cannabinoid receptors cant wait to connect with the CBD that's on its way. Its legal. It doesn't get you high like THC and it may be beneficial. Im trying it. If I don't see any difference or am uncomfortable with the effects, Ill stop using it. But, Im not going to dismiss it out of hand as it my be beneficial.

I bought a small amount of the CBD hemp flowers to try. I didn't want the oil at this point or any food type products because I want it fresh off the plant without anything altering it or adding to it. Im not sure if that was a mistake or not or if this whole thing is a mistake, but Im going ahead and finding out. Jumping in with both feet all my life got me in this mess. Maybe it will get me out of it lol.

    https://www.greenrelief.ca/blog/cannabinoid-receptors/

Nothing, including pain is breaking my stride. I refuse it.

Day 5 of fasting to go into this as clean as possible.
I sure could go for a dripping with melted mozzarella eggplant parmesan grinder right about now. lol

I've been taking CBD oil for chronic back and knee pain, when I remember to take it. I am not aware of any side effects, other than a bit of an after taste, even with the peppermint flavored stuff.

As to it's effectiveness, as I said, it might actually work if I remembered to take it. I'll have to try and put it some place that it is unavoidable. I hope it works for ya, chronic pain makes your whole life suck sometimes.

I'm not convinced that it matters whether it works or not.

I think that it's more important to believe that it works.

I had to put the bottle of vitamins on my desk so I wouldn't forget to take them everyday.

Im sorry to hear you have chronic pain. It really can wear you down or influence what you do in a day and how you do it.

Years ago my orthopedic doctor who I met in the emergency room told me all the things I would never be able to do again after I was in an accident. When I was all broken up in a hospital bed listening to the news I thought, this is some sad **** they are telling me to the point I have to choke back tears for myself just hearing it? They left the room and I thought its not going to happen. Everything they said I couldn't do, needed to be markers for me to do. The you cant became the, I will and I will became I can. So now that Im older I noticed joint pain creeping in and thought I need to figure out the best way forward for me to not break my stride. If I don't its a slow roll to the end and Im not going out that way. I was born to go out with a bang not a wimper. lol

I haven't really heard anything bad about CBD. Just to be sure you are dealing with a reputable place. Ive heard good stuff about it and in particular the CBD oil a friend of mine is taking. It helped with joint pain and over time there was a noticeable difference.

Im excited to try it and eat some eggplant parmesan.

Where did you get that picture, SMW? There is a Walnut Grove Baptist Church just down the road from here, and that looks like something they might put up, considering the other things they've put up.

Legend has it that the Church has been used in a number of movies, as it is quite a picturesque country type setting.
