(like THAT'S a day off!)

They're getting all that rain that moved thru here earlier in the week. I'm glad she's not traveling today... they say both Boston & NY can expect some long flight delays.

 

Yeah, I figured everybody's busy getting ready for tomorrow. I feel kind of guilty that I don't have much to do. (yeah, right....)

 

Happy Birthday to our baby boy.

 

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Mr. Elijah, y'all! I'm headed his direction right now.

Ha ha ha ha, I don't have to do anything at all for tomorrow and certainly not tomorrow either. We have decided to go out and eat. First time in 29 years I haven't had to cook for a mob. First time in 19 years that Linda has had this holiday off.

So we are going out to eat and we will just sit there and gaze into each others eyes and whisper sweet nothings to each other until they thow us out.

So my dear friends I can only hope that you have as nice a day as I am going to be having. And above all please have a safe holiday and come back, mainly cause it gets a little boring trying to talk to myself.

So I shall leave you with this last thought;

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. As usual, they're not telling us when/if we'll be released early, so I'm making an executive decision (mainly because there's no execs here today)... and leaving at 2.

Break time.

LOL, stopped by the dollar store on the way home for aluminum roasting pans. It was my 4th and final stop. Came out and hit the auto door locks, opened the back door to put my bags in... and saw a kid sitting in the back seat! Looked at the rear window for my Cowboy Chruch decal... and it wasn't there... I was in the wrong red car!! Said, "Oops, I'm sorry!" and closed the door, walked to my red car two cars down and hurried outta the parking lot before his mama came back and chased me down for scaring her kid! Poor thing looked at me like I was gonna kidnap him!

Perfect weather in the forecast for tomorrow -- 72 degrees and clear. Hopefully I'll be able to stay in the house and not threaten any little children.

I have my own reason to be celebrating today - going to see one of my absolute all time favorite singers doing an accoustic set in a small local club tonight. Really looking forward to it - haven't seen him live for years, and never in a setting like that.

I baked Banana Bread this morning along with Swet potaoes and Squash , now the pumpkin Pie , glad my son and DIL are doing the rest lol
