If you like Soviet films I should recommend Maxim Gorky "Mother".

Mothers are hardly ever pitied,” wrote Maxim Gorky (1868-1936) in his landmark novel Mother around 100 years ago. The novel is about the pre-revolution proletariat of Russia and focuses on the role women played in the struggle of the Russian working class.

Out of topic: Few years I visited island of Capri and visited Gorky.s house.

You remember too much of some relatively distant history and portraying it in an inappropriate manner.
Art is everywhere, you just need to look around and no, I'm not a Russian, thus all your remarks have no room here nor I intend to comment on England or London.

You may comment on whatever you choose . We will decide whether it warrants even noticing .

Your intentions are your business . We are not even interested in them .
Art may be everywhere -- we hardly need you to point out the obvious -- but then so are idiots .

Many of Western "ultralefts" , impressionable intellectuals are so afraid of the current anti-communist propaganda conducted by all the media that they want through thick and thin to disown the Soviet experience. So they drow a simple picture, where the state is a collective capitalist, to which workers sell their labor power. Here their analysis of the Soviet system finishes.

But if the Soviet bureacracy was a kind of bourgeoisie they must be able to dispose of the property on their own - to give it for present, to sell, to transfer by inheritance, etc.Where are examples of sale - purchase of the state property in the USSR?

If there was "state capitalism", then where are stock exchanges and capital markets, where is the mechanism of competition?

Proponents of the "theory of state capitalism" assert that the state was a single capitalist and the labor was the commodity. The labor force is buying for one purpose - to get a surplus value. But how can you extract the surplus value, if the only buyers in the state are the state's workers and employees? Imagine the capitalist who sells its products only to employees of his own concern. How much will he get money? As much as he paid them for their labor, not a penny more.Imagine that the Soviet government issued a wage to all its workers and employees, including the secretary general, conditionally 100 rubles. And then the state tryes to sell to the same workers and employees some goods. So how much of profit will the state get? It will not get back even 100 rubles. So where is a mechanism of capitalist exploatation in the USSR?

When, where and what capitalism allowed a total nationalization, does not monopoly make impossible commodity production and destroy capitalism?

Proponents of the "theory of state capitalism" never give answeres on these questions.

I was opposing state capitalism when it existed seriously, together with the form of capitalism I was living under. I can't see much point in going on with this discussion, since you don't wish to understand the term 'state capitalism' except as some ultra-left misunderstanding for 'monopoly capitalism'. State capitalism is a system of exploitation whereby the state itself becomes a large - and usually inefficient - firm on the world market, surviving by the super-exploitation of the workers by a new class of capitalists who own the firm collectively and are forced to make a constant pretence of workerism to stay in power. In the end they found it easier to become ordinary monopoly capitalists, as you know, and naturally there was no protest from the totally-subdued working class. That's my lot. Have the last word and let's leave it.

How can I understand what "state capitalism is if you are not able to answere any question? You do not explain, you only declare, since it becomes clear that you yourself do not know what is it.

    Good riddance!

Sorry! The hospital which is located on mountain Altynnaya is the main psychiatric clinic in our region. Some picturesque houses in the empire style with cosy park and kind doctors. The good place for a relaxation. I thought you have visited it.

One of the founders of socialist realism in painting is Konstantin Yuon.
