Yeah man, and F-22 is also able to teleport, fly in a space and use plasma guns! :roflol:

But in reality APG-77 is nose mounted and can observe only forward space like any airborne radar of fighters.
    Su-30-AAMs.png

LPI could not be detected by old 4 gen RWR but it's detectable.

Yeah, russians are unable to talk fairy tale like Above Alpha do :)

Above Alpha looks like Jen Psaki in his stories :clapping:

Yes it is nose mounted but it is part of integrated system that included SIDE SCANNING ARRAYS as well as a LOOK DOWN Scanning Array that can cover the lower rear area behind the F-22.

The F-22 has a combination of both Embedded Sensors and Sensor Fusion. The goal is to have the Pilot focus on dealing with the enemy rather than dealing with the aircraft. Most other fighters have multiple sensors and information-sharing links, shown on multiple displays that often require button pressing to switch back and forth.

The F-22’s Central Integrated Processor (CIP) offers the equivalent of 2 Cray Supercomputers, used for “SENSOR FUSION ” that places all of the information the plane is gathering into one simple display.

Plus a radical design departure embeds Passive Sensors for various wavelengths ALL AROUND THE F-22'S ENTIRE STRUCTURE!!! This gives the F-22 UNPARALLELED FIRST AIRCRAFT DETECTION.......EVEN WITH IT'S RADAR OFF!!!

Thus the combination of Embedded Sensors and Sensor Fusion ALONE.....never mind the fact that an F-22 Raptor has such a high range of detection that the USAF calls the F-22 a MINI-AWAC....as the USAF uses F-22's to NETWORK other USAF, USN, USMC and even U.S. Army Apache Longbow Choppers and other Aircraft when a full U.S. Military Battle Plan is unfolding.

NO AIRCRAFT OR MULTIPLE AIRCRAFT of any other Nation is currently capable of the level of Enemy Aircraft Detection that a single F-22 Raptor is capable of.

And as I stated....an F-22 Raptor could be flying HEAD ON towards an Su-35s and not be detected.

This is a quote from an Australian exchange pilot who had to fly against F-22's during Red Flag “Colonial Flag” back in 2007.......

“I can’t see the F@%#!NG THING!” said RAAF Squadron Leader Stephen Chappell an exchange F-15 pilot in the 65th Aggressor Squadron. “It won’t let me put a weapons system on it even when I can see the F-22 visually through the canopy which annoys the hell out of me.”

This Aussie Pilot flying an F-15 using a very powerful radar and pointing the nose of the F-15 RIGHT AT THE RAPTOR which he can visually SEE....still won't allow a MISSILE LOCK!!!

You you just keep telling me how great the Su-35 is because as I keep saying...against an F-22 Raptor the Su-35 has ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE!!!

What are you talking about??? LOL!!!

Russian's are MASTER'S of the art of telling FAIRY TALES!!!

Here is a few Russian Fairy Tales off the Top of my Head!!

THE MiG-25 CAN DEFEAT ANY OTHER FIGHTER AIRCRAFT IN THE WORLD!

This was of course a FAIRY TALE as although the MiG-25 was a very fast aircraft....it could not maneuver worth a damn!! A MiG-25 could be flying at Mach 1 to Mach 3 but it would take 25 miles of distance before the damn MiG-25 could turn 90 degrees!! LOL!!

    Here is another one.

The Soviet BMP is BEST TROOP CARRIER EVER MADE!!!

Problem was the Soviet's designed their BMP's as there were several variants....TO HAVE THE FUEL TANK AS PART OF THE BACK DOOR THAT OPENS TO ALLOW THE TROOPS OUT!!! So all it took was a few .50 Caliber Rounds and the damn BMP's back door would EXPLODE which since it was the way OUT for Soviet Troops inside....was really a stupid design.

    Another one.....

MAKING THE T-72 WITH A SELF TANK ROUND LOADER BUT THEN MAKING THE TURRET TO BE HAND CRANKED!!! LOL!!!

Northrop Grumman does not confirm your statement officially. Side scannig arrays are just matter of rumors.

Of course you are wrong. Su-35 is not a F-15.

Btw - how about your statements about Russian MOD site? :roflol:

Am I right that you are not educated in physics? Do you know the formula of turn radius?
That radius is big for any aircraft when it is flying on a high speed.

Side Scanning Arrays are standard in current existing Raptors and an F-22 would not be using F-22’s a Central Integrated Processor (CIP) which offers the equivalent processing of 2 Cray Supercomputers just to run an AN/APG-77 which by the way is being upgraded to an AN/APG-81.

And the USAF would not be calling an F-22 an MINI-AWAC if it did not have the capabilities of detection I have listed.

    Again...against an F-22 Raptor...the Su-35 has NO CHANCE.

There is no prove that F-22 has side radars.

Do you really want to get into a debate with me about Physics or Quantum Physics because if you want this...do it at your own peril!! LOL!!!

Perhaps you would like to detail out the the difference between Quantum Electrodynamics and Quantum Chromodynamics?

Or perhaps you would like to discuss the existence of Virtual Qaurk-Antiquark Pairings within Hadrons?

Or maybe you would like the discuss the use of Multiversal Polymorphic Algebraic Equations necessary to the set up the Calculus necessary to detail out 26-D Universal Space-Time Geometry?

Or perhaps you would like to delve into M-Theory or explain the difference between the Many Worlds Model to the Multiversal Model?

    Ready?

I see that you don't understand Newton's Laws of Motion and that is enough for me.
You can copy and paste a lot of terms from Internet but you are far from understanding of basics.
There's no doubt that you are skilled in copy and paste but that is all you can do :)
As former avionics engineer I'm laughing at mess that you create by combining a terms :roflol:

But the most interesting thing is when Alpha told "the Russian Ministry of Defense states" than it's almost 100% of BS :)

First of all I extremely well versed in Physics and if you look at the Topic I crested called...Off the Cart Universal and Multiversal Models you will see exactly how well I am versed.

And here is an easy question for you.....What is the weight on Earth and Mass of 1 Newton equal to and what object did Newton base it on?

And if you are an engineer than you know I am correct that the MiG-25 although capable of velocities up to Mach 3 handles like a CEMENT TRUCK!!

It can't maneuver worth a damn and has a HORRIFIC turning ratio!!!

While aircraft like the F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-18 can turn on a dime....the MiG-25 in order to make even a 90 degree turn takes a lot of distance and time at speeds even below Mach 1!!!!

    You are not

Seems to you do not see "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy"
There are two definition of mass - gravitational and inertial. First one was empirical according to the Newton laws.

You forgot that turn radius depends on only two paremeters - sustained turn speed and G-force. That is all.

    See my answer below.
Mig-25 was not dog-fighter plane ever. It had 4.5 G-force limit due to high speed. Mig-21 and F-4 had 7.5 G-force limit
Then turn radius depends on square of speed only. But that is not enough for aerial combat

I am well aware that F=MA.....Duh!

And I am also aware that the MiG-25 was built as an Interceptor Aircraft.....SO WAS THE F-15!!!

And if you actually looked at what I posted I specifically stated that even at velocities BELOW Mach 1......that the MiG-25 has a HORRIFIC rate of turn!!!

Back in 1976 when Soviet Pilot Viktor Belenko defected in a MiG-25 to the United States as he flew his MiG-25 Foxbat to Japan first the USAF had been worried as they had picked up on various U.S. Radar an aircraft flying close to and at Mach 3.

The USAF Reverse Engineering Division out of Wright/Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio was sent to Japan as they took apart the MiG-25 piece by piece and they were surprised to find that many small areas on the MiG-25 which was a very new aircraft were RUSTING!!!!

    Here is the whole story.

The MiG-25's arrival in Japan was a windfall for Western military planners. The Japanese government originally only allowed the U.S. to examine the plane and do ground tests of the radar and engines; later the Japanese invited the Americans to examine the plane extensively, and it was dismantled for this purpose in Japan.[7] The plane was moved by US transport aircraft from Hakodate to Hyakuri Air Base on September 25, and by this time experts had determined that the plane was an interceptor, not a fighter-bomber, which was a welcome reassurance for Japanese defense.[8]

The Japanese government laid out a plan on October 2 to return the aircraft in crates from the port of Hitachi and bill the Soviets $40,000 for crating services and airfield damage at Hakodate.[9] The Soviets unsuccessfully tried to negotiate a return via Antonov An-22 aircraft and attempted to organize a rigorous inspection of the crates, but Japan refused both demands and the Soviets finally submitted to the Japanese terms on October 22.[10] The aircraft was moved from Hyakuri to the port of Hitachi on 11 November on a convoy of trailers. It left in 30 crates aboard the Soviet cargo ship Taigonos on 15 November 1976 and arrived about three days later in Vladivostok.[11] A team of Soviet technicians had been allowed to view subassemblies at Hitachi, and upon finding 20 missing parts,[12] one being film of the flight to Hakodate,[11] the Soviets attempted to bill Japan for $10 million. Neither the Japanese nor Soviet bill is thought to have ever been paid.[9]

A senior diplomat described the Soviet position as "sulky about the whole affair".[13] CIA analysis said "both countries seem anxious to put the problem behind them" and speculated that the Soviets were reluctant to cancel a series of upcoming diplomatic visits because "some useful business is likely to be transacted, and because the USSR, with its political standing in Tokyo so low, can ill afford setbacks in Soviet–Japanese economic cooperation."

You are not You cannot get turn radius formula from the Newton laws :)

F-15 is not an interceptor :)

See the formula I mentioned. Mig-25 is interceptor :)

And that was not affect on service.

YOU brought up Newton I did NOT!!!

And of course I am aware that the turning capability of an aircraft is a combination of the velocity a pilot is flying at along with the mass of the aircraft, the structural ability of an aircraft to handle such turns, the design of the aircraft's air foil and aerodynamics that allow one aircraft more so than another to be capable of turning and lastly the ability of the human body to handle such maneuvers at high rates of speed and that is why aircraft like the F-22 which is capable of turning and making maneuvers that would either cause a pilot to black out or even killing a pilot even with their training and flight suit designed to force blood back to their brains during such maneuvers force the designers of the F-22 and other aircraft to have a fly-by-wire system that has a BUILT IN FLIGHT AND MANEUVERING GOVERNOR....to prevent the aircraft from turning or maneuvering too fast for the human body to handle.

I have posted about such things MANY TIMES IN THE PAST so I don't want to read I just looked this up from you!!

As well the altitude of an aircraft making turns must be taken into account as the higher in altitude the less the air density is thus this has a two fold effect in that at higher altitudes an aircraft's making maneuvers has less air mass per cubic inch to catch with it's wings and tail and various steering mechanisms as flaps and as the U.S. B-2 has no tail other methods are employed....but higher altitude during a high speed turn will create less stress on the aircraft than if such a maneuver was performed at lower altitudes and as well this also has the effect of making it more difficult to turn quicker as there is less air for various flaps and tail fins to catch....and then of course velocity increases the stress and pressure upon such mechanisms.

    You really are something.

Mass don't matter itself. The only factor is the velocity during the turn. All factors like aerodynamics and mass are in the velocity. And structural ability is in the G-force.

Aerobatic aircraft is able to peform more G-force than fighter.

    It affects on velocity again.

That is why since Su-27 can sustain less speed than it has lower turn radius than F-15.
F-15 has more G-force ability than Mig-25 that is why it can outmaneuver Mig-25 in close combat. But Mig-25 is not a plane for dog fight.

YACC....despite the fact we tend to disagree on many issues this doesn't change the reality I enjoy debating with you as unlike some members you at least....90% of the time....discuss the direct issues instead of like some members....start spouting venomous hatred toward the United States.

I believe you are aware that I have spend a good deal of time in Russia both when it was a part of the Soviet Union....I was there in 1984....and after it became a democracy as my Team and I provided Security for U.S. Military Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons Destruction Teams as well as U.S. Military and CDC Biological Lab Cleanup Teams as the U.S. paid over $300 Billion to first purchase all Old Soviet Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons in Russia and all other former States of the Soviet Union and then we ecologically safe Destroyed them all after buying them.

The Bio-weapon's Lab's were the worse part of the JOB and although most of the Biological Weapon's were spread in many areas of the Soviet Union...usually along the boarder areas....the Biological Weapon's Lab's mostly existed between 150 to 250 Km's outside of Moscow and their were just a few in Georgia and the Ukraine and a few other places.

When the Soviet Union collapsed all those Bio-Weapon's engineers and scientists stopped getting a PAYCHECK and they just locked the doors of all those Bio-Weapon's Lab's and went home.

The most dangerous thing I have ever done....and I have even been SHOT before....was going to this one Bio-Weapon's Lab that was North of Moscow in a rural area and it had a single....30 foot high...first story that had concrete walls and large windows that began about 16 feet up the concrete walls as this buildings first floor was designed to allow sunlight to illuminate the large open first floor which had glass walled offices that existed at the same height that the glass windows began as their were staircases to the left and right of the entrance that went up to a sort of glass loft that lined the entire oval structure.

But it was the LOWER LEVELS that were told where the Biological Weapons Labs were located and we had received bad intelligence as we had with us a few members of the Russian Special Chemical Weapons Forces who were part of the Soviet Army and had been brought out of retirement to help us.

Unfortunately they had never worked or even had been to this particular old Soviet Chemical Weapons Lab as it had been a SECRET back in the day as the top floor and loft was disguised as some type of Soviet Data Storage Facility. We were told that there had been no Bio-Weapons development on the first 2 lower floors as there were many lower floors and I shudder to think about how the first floor had been broken into by locals and they had stolen the file cabinets and furniture and had even taken down and removed some of the glass office walls for whatever reason and there was a dual elevator one that could take people to the first Sub-level and the second elevator could take people to the second Sub-level and we had been told that the first sub-level and second sub-level were records storage ONLY.

The two elevators had a keypad and a very old and rudimentary magnetic code swiper and as this Lab was built in the 1970's it is a sheer MIRACLE that some kid had not broken into the lower levels!!!

We went to the 1st floor and it was as we were told...records.

But when we came back up and took the elevator to the 2nd level as we were told it was also only records and that to access the 3 other lower level accessing elevators that went down to lower levels where more elevators existed that would take us to the lower levels where the Biological Weapons existed and we get there and the elevator door slides open....and the entire facility's electricity had to be turned on at another site over 1 Km away as at that site was located a deep underground diesel powered electrical generator in case this building ever lost power and the Russian Army had to first get the Generator up and running as the Underground Electrical Cables to that building had been purposely CUT in order to prevent anyone from accessing the elevators and reaching the lower levels so it took the Russian Army roughly 6 weeks to fix these very old Diesel Fuel Powered Electrical Generators.....as they had a Primary Electrical Generator and a Backup.

We get to the 2nd Sub-level and the elevator doors open and every single one of us in that elevator GASPED!!!

    Reason why???

About 6 meters directly in front of us is a Missile Warhead Cone. Not the missile....just the warhead and cone and half installed into the warhead with the remaining part of it just sitting right on top of an assembly table is.......

A STRING OF PEARLS WARHEAD ASSEMBLY!!!!

We would later find out something that would shake all of us to our very core!!!

Now String of Pearls is usually used for VX GAS.....as the warheads for Surface to Surface, Air to Ground and Ship to Ground Missiles...not the missiles but just the warheads....were being assembled here. The physical PARTS of the Missiles and Missile Warheads were built elsewhere and this Lab would receive just the warheads and they would fit them with various Biological Weapons but a STRING OF PEARLS WARHEAD CONFIGURATION is NOT something that should EVER be used for a Bio-Weapon!!!!

    It is simply TOO DANGEROUS!!!

In case you don't know a String of Pearls Warhead configuration is a missile warhead that opens up and allows these Ping Pong Ball sized Glass Balls that usually are used for VX Gas and are hollow and under pressure but in this case these Glass Balls were also under pressure and loaded with an extremely concentrated and deadly form of WEAPONIZED SMALL POX!!!!!

If there had been an Earth Quake or if the building had shifted underground or if ANYTHING had caused just ONE of a large number of these Ping Pong Ball sized grass balls filled with a deadly concentration of weaponized Small Pox which was under PRESSURE in order to be distributed in the widest manner possible....the moment that Elevator door had opened we would have turned into STILL WALKING DEAD MEN!!!

There was not supposed to be any Biological Weapons on the 2nd floor and we were given the Intel. that they only existed on Sub-Levels 7 thru 11.

The Elevators on the 2nd floor would not even allow a person to get to Sub-Levels 7 thru 11 so WHY this half assembled String of Pearls configuration Bio-Weapon warhead was sitting on this table was a mystery.

The Soviet's choice of SMALL POX is obvious as Small Pox was eradicated from the face of the Earth many years previous and it only exists in Lab's such as the CDC or Center of Disease Control which although being a U.S. created, funded and existing Agency is also the most capable Agency of dealing with and creating vaccines for various Diseases and capable of setting up proper Disease prevention protocols and quarantines entity on Planet Earth.

Every Nation on the Planet defers to the CDC when disease breakouts and pandemics occur anywhere on Earth and there exists offices of the CDC in Russia.

As well the U.S. Permanent 5 Members being the U.S., Russia, China, U.K. and France along with the U.N. Security Council have given the CDC Overall Sweeping Authority to determine protocols of containing and quarantining as well as the U.S. Security Council gives the CDC COMPLETE AUTHORITY to determine a course of action when a deadly contagion has been released or broken out of containment and has infected people.

The JOB my Team and I were there for was...yes....to provide Security for members of the CDC and U.S. Military Biological Weapons Labs Cleanup Teams as well as provide Security for the Russian Members of the Team.....but we also had one other JOB....given to us by the CDC and agreed upon by the United States, Russia and U.N. Security Council.

This other JOB was that in a case where any member of any group or Team including myself and my Team Members was infected by any contagion that was either known or unknown....that I and my Team were to use all means necessary including the use of deadly force to keep any person even if there was the tiniest CHANCE of then being infected....to keep them on premises and to aid the CDC in quarantining them in a Mobile Human Containment Structure (MHCS).....which was basically a triple lined extremely heavy duty blow up plastic cube that had a built in cot and a built in double airlock where a CDC Doctor after this thing being blown up and they used several types of gas and I personally have never witnessed one being set up in person but I watched how they blow them up on a Video and it is really something.

But if we all were suspect of being infected or exposed....my JOB along with my Team was to prevent anyone from leaving....prevent anyone else from coming down by disabling the elevator and to allow members of the CDC with us to determine whether or not there was anything that could be done for us in the time we would have left.

At that point we would communicate with other members of my Team topside to SUIT UP in special CDC suits as we SHOULD HAVE FREAKING DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE....and I blame myself for that as I should have NEVER placed any faith in people who never had worked at the site and it was EXTREMELY FORTUNATE for us that none of those Glass Balls had broken over the years!!!

My members would suit up and evacuate the topside and lower by rope a specific device and then they would alert the CDC as they would send in more people to properly contain but first burn the entire interior of the building using a special type of Flame Thrower as they would have no choice and before they did that they would WELD a thick sheet of steel over both elevator doors.

On the 2nd Sub-Level my Teams JOB would be to shoot to kill anyone who panicked and tried to get out.

My JOB was to set the digital timer and once I entered a specific code the devices countdown could not be stopped until it detonated as even I could not stop it from detonating one this code was entered.

I will not go into detail but let's just say the device was impossible to break open as it was made out of very strong but light metal....and that the device weighed about 200 lbs and was designed not to blow things up but instead designed to burn anything at incredibly high temperatures in a room that could be as large as a 50 meter x 50 meter cube....and kill anything and everything in that room.

So we were instructed to stand approx. 3 meters from the device if we were still alive as at that distance the shrapnel would kill us as even the shrapnel would be burning as the device was designed to detonate creating as little of a pressure wave as possible as although it weighed 200 lbs the explosive itself was only equal to a few sticks of Dynamite.

It was the gel material inside it and another material I cannot mention that would burn everything in that room and sterilize it.

Afterwords they would cut open the welded shut elevator door and they would have poured CONCRETE filling the elevator shaft then the CDC would have them fully contain the top of the building.

This of course did not happen as I am typing to you....but because even though the CDC was there....it was MY FAULT as I had overall authority and we should have worn suits!!!

They never did find out or perhaps they did not want to tell us WHY that String of Pearls Warhead was sitting on a table on the 2nd Sub-Level and THAT still scares me because what if someone was able to grab one of those warheads???

Weaponized Small Pox would kill BILLIONS OF PEOPLE before the CDC could develop a Vaccine because it would MUTATE QUICKLY and I can't think of a more dangerous means of delivery than String of Pearls and that's why the U.S. never used that warhead configuration at least with Biological Weapons.

This is a case where I was WRONG.

And YACC....your post to me is also WRONG!!!

MASS of an aircraft....and by MASS I am not talking about the cubit meters it displaces I am talking about the AMOUNT OF PROTONS AND NEUTRONS THAT ARE A PART OF THE AIRCRAFT....thus the weight!!!

The difference between a 1 Ton Jet Fighter banking left compared to a 2 Ton Jet Fighter that is the same design and the same size banking left is a BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

The 1 Ton Jet will bank left much quicker and with a much better turning and maneuvering capability than the 2 Ton Jet that is the same design and same size!!

    So YACC....you are VERY WRONG!!!

MASS...makes all the difference in the World!!!

Again, mass affects on velocity. That is all. And it's the velocity and G-factor that affect on turn radius only. During horisontal flight aircraft with 2 ton mass have to sustain bigger velocity. That is why Mig-21 in combat configuration ( less than 50% of fuel ) can easily outmaneuver F-22 with full tanks of fuel right after takeoff - because F-22 has to sustain bigger velocity and due to full tanks it has less G-factor.

    This is totally incorrect.

The mass or in this case we can say weight of a Fighter Jet has EVERYTHING to do with it's turning radius!!!

    I will say this again.

    Say you have two Su-35's.

Both Su-35's are identical in size and design and materials they are made of but one Su-35 is almost out of fuel and the other Su-35 has full internal tanks and neither Su-35 is carrying any external fuel tanks or missiles or bombs.

The weight and MASS difference is 1 TON.

NOW.....both Su-35's make an identical turn at the exact same velocity and both are at the same altitude.

YOU TELL ME WHICH SU-35 WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE A TIGHTER TURN??

Of course it's the Su-35 that is almost out of fuel.

The Su-35 with an additional mass of 1 Ton of Fuel will not be able to make as tight a turn and will travel a longer distance and take more time to make any turn such as a 90 degree turn as the other low on fuel Su-35!!

This is a FACT of Physics!!

Just to add....the heavier Su-35 could possibly make the 90 degree turn at the same rate and make it just as tight as the Su-35 that is 1 Ton lighter if it INCREASED THRUST and if it's aerodynamics allowed it to make such a turn at a specific velocity with so much fuel within it.

BUT....their is a LIMIT to the amount of thrust as well as a limit to the ability for the aircraft to make such a turn at a high velocity and with full tanks.

It must at the very least apply more thrust but it can only apply such thrust to a LIMIT.

The chances of an American fighter meeting a Russian counterpart in combat are pretty much Nil. Neither side has the appetite or stupidity to attack the other, America because it would be expensive and politically damaging internationally and Russia because they know they would be destroyed as a country for all intent and purpose. Russia has already placed itself on the edge of a precipice and can ill afford to jump off. When we consider that the U.S would not even need to resort to nuclear options to eliminate Moscow from the world map and that Putin knows this full well, it is relatively easy to understand why he hold back from going further into Ukraine.
He could easily take Ukraine in a week, we could not so easily stop Russia from doing so...but, it would be very expensive in blood and treasure.

No. Combination of mass and aerodynamics ( i.e lift force ). And that combination is in the velocity.
Example - F-104 and F-15. F-15 an about two times heavier but has less turn radius.

That result in difference in minimum velocity for horisontal flight and that is all.

When comparing maneuverability of fighters specific combat configuation is used. Nobody cares about weight. Again - F-22 is heavier than F-104 - does that mean that F-104 has lower turn radius? :)

This entire discussion ignores the most pertinent aspect of todays advanced fighter jet....Avionics and Computer function.

One must also take logistical and military support options into account. Head to head and one on one it may be a very well matched dogfight. However, the SU35 would likely never even see blew it out of the sky.
