I don’t know if you’re gas lighting or really having that much trouble following the conversation.

That isn't the craziest part. The craziest part is their gaslighting. Saying they want and are doing everything they can to stop the border invasion, at the same time suing and interfering with any and all attempts to stop it. Not to mention their circumventing the border with flyovers and even developing an app for potential border crashers to get the latest information on where best to enter. Then claiming the Republicans and Trump are the ones responsible because they don't want to sign a loaded bill giving them all kinds of giveaways they know the Republicans would never sign-off on which also would mean Republicans signing off to immigration levels 20 times the already insane levels from prior to Biden. This doesn't even address the fact all he had to do was leave it the hell alone and not put out 100 EO's reversing the preventive measures Trump had already put into effect. He could fix it tomorrow without any input from the Reps or Dems in Congress. Does he think the American people are that blind and/or stupid? That dog just don't hunt!!!!

And if they know they can halt it at 5000/day (that's ~2 Million/year), they know they can halt it at or near zero? If the GOP signed that they would say, "See? Look! The GOP approves of letting in millions per year".

And have you seen the Mayorkas testimonies? His responses are ludicrous and in no way have any bearings on the questions posed. I'm convinced his IQ is somewhere approaching levels eroded to the point where his parents likely had an impossible task getting him potty trained.

Your saying incomprehensible nonsense and pretending as though you understand my feelings better than I do.

But I understand that people accuse people of gaslighting when they're stuck in a corner.

It was fun but I'll take this as a sign that I broke you.

I've said this numerous times, not really regarding Mexico itself, but with these Central American countries. They are coming to the US because they want to be in the US and escape the thugs and brutal governments they are fleeing from. So, instead of them coming to the US, we should be taking the US to them. They would love it if we annexed their countries and threw out their governments. That is what they really want. So, let's give it to them. It's insane to let these thug governments take over the land and resources of the world and we get stuck taking care of the people they don't want. If we are going to be taking care of the people, we should be getting the resources as part of the deal.

But people here legally are OUR responsibility because they are us. We are not inheriting other places problems.

Did I really have to explain this to you?

You don’t even know what my position is, so why would you presume you have to explain anything?

And as an added benefit, we can stabilize and grow our backyard and benefit the world as a whole. I'm envisioning Napoleon's France, or the UK at its apex.

It’s actually a surprise (but a very pleasant surprise) that the Supreme Court so ruled. Immigration laws are usually enforced by the feds.

Yes there is, it's part of the Geneva Convention.

And you own fake mail ballot president REQUIRES those to seek asylum to do so at specified points of entry.....or they're not eligible for asylum.

While I actually agree with that, we do have to keep in mind that it didn't work out so well for either Napoleon or the UK.

Human smuggling is not a victimless crime. Why do you keep claiming it is? Wait, you don't have to answer. We know why.

It's such an absurd position. Why do you defend human smuggling that results in rapes, murders, sex slavery, overdoses, etc? Just because MSNBC says something doesn't mean it is moral or not criminal.

So what ended up being the downfall of Napoleon/UK? In the case of Napoleon, it was the Spanish Civil War(and then invading Russia because they wouldn't hold up the economic blockade against the UK). These forces combined spelled the end of Napoleon's France.

Right now, there isn't a comparable in the world and definitely not in our backyard. We wouldn't be at risk for the factors that defeated Napoleon.

As for the UK? WW2 effectively destroyed the British Empire(loans, debts, self-determination of countries formerly held in British possession: India and Canada notably). If we fear the demise of the UK, then all the more to stand against "who we are"(AKA Washington's politicians), who are all too happy to fight wars without any gain.

That's basically what the US is: A War economy that is not furnished with goods of conflict lol. Sure, it employs a small section of Americans but in comparison to the costs, its still a detriment long term.

Whenever we hear these clowns talk about 'isolationism', we should ask: "How is Switzerland doing?"

    https://tradingeconomics.com/switzerland/unemployment-rate

With the biggest, baddest army, navy and natural geographical advantages, we can say "**** you" to both the EU/Russia and we could grow this economy so much.

Both crimes should be processed the same. Heck, especially in human smuggling/trafficking, where the victim is basically taken away from their home and in all likelihood with no living relatives nearby.

One of the things Trump can be proud of, is how strongly he stood against human trafficking.

They engaged in human smuggling to get here. And if they brought children, they are child traffickers. You didn't know that? That is a strange argument to make to attack enforcement of illegal immigration, by the way.
