Nope I realise that the legal team did what they could but it became quite clear early on that they were never going to be permitted the opportunity to prove their case. You can't protect people from themselves - and trying to does far more harm than good. All you can do is lay out the framework to favour the majority (allowing a little wiggle room for those whose circumstances are beyond their control - ie, orphans/victims of war/famine/natural disaster/accident/plague etc), and let the chips fall where they may. Those who want the benefits of that framework, will work within it.
