It ain't his personal power which by this time was all but gone anyway. He'll never work in DC again. His dropping of the persecution of General Flynn guarantees that. What does matter is that his many friends get to keep their power. Ever wonder why almost nothing in DC ever changes other than language no matter which parties in power? It's because the bureaucracy already knows what it's going to do and couldn't careless what the short timers The people elected want. That you see is the real lesson of the Trump presidency. To borrow from fiction we are becoming if we haven't already become so a real world approximation of David Webber's Solarian League from the Honor Harrington stories...

Yes, things ALWAYS change over time. We adapt, or we perish.

Disneyland isn't real, Love. There is no special magical place in which we can all live like it's 1970, forever. How do you think those born in the 1890's coped with life? They went through one of the biggest cultural changes ever known to human kind between the 19th and the 20th centuries, they went through WWI, the Great Depression, WWII, the invention of the motor car, aeroplanes, space travel, computers, telephones, household electricity, mountains of new beurocracy, and a raft of other things they had to ADAPT to.

second white flag noted and accepted.

Everyone, including you, knows why you can't address the facts and data I present which refutes your silly claims.

It responds to it entirely. ADAPT or perish.

You realize everyone reading knows why you won't actually come straight out and state that trump, his entire legal team, and all of his federal agency department heads conspired to install democrat joe biden to the white house, lol.

You're telling people to die... because they can't adapt getting id?

What in the heck is wrong with your argument? I don't understand at all why you even think that's an acceptable argument to start off with. I refuse to engage with social darwinism arguments like this.

Weak argument. Can be used for anything.

Don't like gun restrictions? Adapt or die.

Don't like that Biden cheated? Adapt or die.

Don't like nuts on your sundae? Adapt or die.

I'm using the old adage, it's not ****ing literal ..... jeezuss.

Now tell us on which planet people can elect to be exempt from adapting to a changing world? Where is this magical place which allows us to avoid the perishing part, just 'cause?

Once you've done that, tell us how change actually happens, when no one has to change? How did we get here from 1890?

One which gives us societal benefits. It's not adapt or perish.

It's the strongest argument there is. If people don't ADAPT to change, NOTHING will ever change. You would still have slaves in America, and the Church would decide everything.

"I'm not saying to adapt or perish but if you don't adapt you will die"-your entire argument in this thread summed up.

I don't accept social darwin arguments as common ground. Pick a better argument.

Apparently, GA Republicans are exempt from a changing world.

21st century Republicans, like those in Utah, are leading this change. It's time for GA to follow suit, and construct a system like that in Utah, where Democrats never win, nobody gets away with fraud, and voter participation is high.

ID cards are so 20th century. GA needs to adapt to change or die.

Which of the thousand of elections in US history has ever been stolen? Just one example will suffice.

Nope I realise that the legal team did what they could but it became quite clear early on that they were never going to be permitted the opportunity to prove their case. Barr knows DC rules and knew that even if he wanted to he wouldn't have sufficient time to really do any actual investigation and Trump will go to his grave believing he was robbed.

So you are back to claiming trump, his legal team, his DHS, his DOJ, his Attorney general all conspired to install democrat joe Biden into the White House? Why do you believe such silly and demonstrably false things? We know that voter fraud is simply not an issue.

I'm not arguing votes in this particular post. I'm arguing the idea that we ought to facilitate those who choose not to adapt to changes which benefit the majority.

It's an expression, Dear. It's not LITERAL. It means 'adapt or suffer the consequences of your refusal to adapt'.

You can't protect people from themselves - and trying to does far more harm than good. All you can do is lay out the framework to favour the majority (allowing a little wiggle room for those whose circumstances are beyond their control - ie, orphans/victims of war/famine/natural disaster/accident/plague etc), and let the chips fall where they may. Those who want the benefits of that framework, will work within it.

The problem with Voter ID is that is makes it more difficult to steal elections.

Yeah no you’ve this entire time been making the “if they’re not responsible/ adapt they don’t deserve to vote/ die argument”. You’re making it now because social Darwinism is all you have to go on.
