We can’t get evidence because you folks won’t let us do signature verification audits.

Why not? If there’s no cheating, what’s the problem?

Republican fear of Americans voting is justified, but has no basis in the pretense of election security as an excuse.

Elections are not stolen by criminal cabals, each conspirator risking fine and imprisonment in coordinated capers. Hacking into tabulations is far preferable if one really wants to pervert any election result, but there are still paper ballot recounts and independent audits to safeguard the democratic process. As well as the opportunity to challenge the result in the courts if there is any credible evidence.

Participatory democracy demands participation; government of, by, and for the People works best when participation is encouraged and facilitated, not when it is obstructed and thwarted. Asking Americans "How can it be made less onerous for you to exercise your democratic right?" should define the politicians' mission, not "What barriers can be contrived that are most effective in preventing Americans who are more likely to vote against my party from doing so?"

Democracy is under assault from within, driven by self-serving paranoia. The Cry Baby Loser had continually mewled about a rigged election in 2016.

After he won the electoral vote (a "Landslide!" of 306-232), he mewled that he had been robbed of a popular vote victory by a margin of 3-5 million - invisible bogus balloteers all of whom voted against him, none of whom could ever by found.

In 2020, most American voters eagerly dumped the Loser at their first opportunity, entirely consistent with constant and relentless independent public surveys throughout his four years, in a safe and secure election.

It is unfortunate that his narcissistic derangement, moral impotence, and chronic mendacity result in his now crapping on democracy to the delight of totalitarian regimes everywhere, and as an excuse for a metastasizing, hyper-partisan, disenfranchisement of Americans.

Loser's eminent criminal and civil reckonings, along with his looming financial crises, will only turn up the volume on his inveterate bleating that everybody's being mean to him.
It's pathetic but, inexplicably, some succumb to it.

    Boo hoo.

I have not seen his blog but I imagine it is mostly just text, which requires reading. The Trump’s base of support isn’t exactly the library crowd. They need visuals and need to be talked to. They need to be preached to.

It is central to the problem. Deep within liberal ideology is the issues of fairness, balance, and equality. On most issues Democrats tend to push for compromise and a more balanced approach. It is in their nature. It is the Republicans who are one sided and unwilling to compromise. Democrats want a fair system where everyone can fully participate. Republicans only want their side to prevail. It is why they go so far to unfairly give themselves advantages in red states.

JFK was much wealthier than the Trump and didn’t need to grift as the Trump does.

Utah is part of the Western US culture. In the Western US, voting by mail is more prevalent than elsewhere. Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and Utah all have similar all mail voting systems. It is automatic. Every election, every eligible voter is sent, by mail, a ballot which they can return either by mail or at secure public drop boxes. Voting registration is tied to one’s state ID, or driver’s license. Signatures on ballots are verified in a similar system as used by banks.

Utah is more liberal than most people think. It is only the religious question that keeps them red. They are the outlier in a mostly secular West.

Consistently, across the country, in those places where voter turnout is high, like in Minnesota and Oregon, twice the national average, Democrats tend to dominate. Whereas in those places where voter suppression is rampant and voter participation is low, Republicans tend to dominate.

Anyone who spends time in Georgia realizes that Georgia is far more liberal than its politics seem to indicate. It was in seeing that Brian Kemp only became Governor because of his effort as Secretary of State that spurred Stacey Abrams and others to push for reforms that led to the state voting blue in the last couple of elections. Of course the Republicans are pushing back by adding more restrictions on voting. Seems to me that it is quite clear by now. The abundance of evidence points to the very real possibility that the Republicans have only had majorities in Congress due to voter suppression and other corrupt efforts. It is not only that they have faulty ideas, but they are also cheaters.

Is it really impossible to believe that Trump lost the election legitimately? If so, why is that?

I believe that was a contributing factor. Also, it required Trump to write which he seems to abhor just as much as reading. When one can't use excessive punctuation to add to the character count, it shows. ;-)

Back to the OP...it is good to see the Repubs admit that the more people that vote the less chance they have to win

Whenever I see someone posting references to Alinsky, wokeness, Venezuela, PC, and other such terms, it gives them away. I’m sure such terms invoke a sense of superiority in those speaking in such a way, but it often comes off as rather pathetic. Besides their love of guns, authoritarians, violence, Jesus, and the very wealthy, and their hatred of liberals, scholarship, minorities, abortion, and fair play, it seems to me there isn’t much more to the Republican brand. It often seems to me that hate makes them happy. Rush Limbaugh made a career out of hating. Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, and Sean Hannity are doing the same. How can someone go through life with so much hatred? Why does the hate make them so happy?

States can and do change.... wasn't too long ago my beautiful (if freaking hot this weekend) Virginia was fully red.... over time, with general education, political awareness, migration, and aging out of some of the older white electorate, Virginia is now fully blue.

I sometimes get these "scare me to donate" emails from the DNC warning me our Gov election might tip red this year. I just laugh...

Here are some D statewide vote increases from 2016 to 2020... Much of this is T**** related, but not all of it...

    VA +239K
    GA +223K
    TX +176K
    AZ +101K
    NC +99K
    MO +58K
    KS +43K

There are a number of reasons. Including the suspicious manner in which votes were tabulated, spikes in the counting that are not evident in any other presidential election. Statistical anomalies that are inexplicable.

Combine that with the fact that Trump was filling up stadiums and his opponent couldn’t fill up a high school lunch room, trump had people knocking on doors for years whereas Biden had NO ground game and didn’t knock on doors until a month out from the election. Trump was a tireless campaigner and Biden sheltered away and when he did make public appearances they were brief, scripted and refused any question and answer periods.

That’s in contrast to Obama who was a tireless campaigner, had people knock on doors for YEARS and was considered the single best politician the left had produced in decades and a guarantee for the minority vote. And he STILL got tens of millions of votes less than Biden.

And that’s not even considering the fact that the democrats went all in on a massive mail in voting system while multiple states removed the requirement for signature verification of mail in ballots.

None of this proves fraud but it is enough to justify an independent and transparent signature verification audit. Which brings me to the most important reason I think they cheated. They REFUSE to allow a signature verification audit. Even in Arizona the democrats forced the audit team to not look at the signatures and compare them to the registration records without written permission from the democrat party.

If there’s no fraud, a signature verification audit shouldn’t be a problem. Unless you have something to hide.

There were 27 million more people in the country, 20 million or so that are of voting age.

Biden did not get tens of millions of votes more than Obama, he got barely 11 million more.

Obama also got a higher percent of the vote.

One correction to my post...the Voter Eligible population in the US was 25 million more in 2020 than in 2008.

One other tiny correction to your other post...

Obama got a much higher pct of the PV against McCain (7.27%), but Biden's 4.45% was actually better than Obama 2012 vs Romney - 3.85%
