Good lord.

The stock market has been absolute CRAP at judging Tesla.

 

You know why, right? Why they went from not ever making a profit in nearly 20 years of existence to suddenly turning a profit selling the same stuff?

Because the US government ratcheted up the fuel economy standards granting credits against those standards to any EVs sold. Basically cheating in favor of EVs. Since Tesla doesn't sell ICE vehicles, they had bags of credits they didn't need which they sold to other manufacturers.

Poof! Sudden profits provided by EPA.

A completely manipulated scam.

I've been in this game a long time dealing with folks just like you. Sorry, you've met your match.

we need early adopters to advance the technology, no one is asking you or I to be one of those

the reality is, we need to improve battery technology, and that benefits us all, regardless if we ever drive an EV

 

I think some want to covert those to gas too

 

that is why they add all the digital stuff today to ICE cars, planned obsolescence

carmakers are talking a subscription model too, that could improve quality eventually, but it means you pay a monthly payment for life - want those heated seats, anti-lock breaks, etc turned on, pay the monthly fee, be just like cable tv

 

this is an interesting tech, the energy is in the liquid, thus you just replace the liquid and it gets recharged by the gas station, something like 30x more energy than lithium, almost like filling up with gas, accept it removes the old and replaces it with new recharged liquid

In what can credibly be called the death knell for EVs and the entire global warming fraud here in the states, the Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a challenge to what's called the Chevron doctrine. The Chevron doctrine is largely responsible for 2007s EPA v. Massachusetts decision that allowed EPA to regulate CO2 without clear Congressional authority. If it's tossed, EPA authority is also tossed along with all the silliness it brings with it.
