    In my previous post to you I tried to explain the gap between Republican officeholders and Republican voters. I felt it needed explaining because although the Democrats have their fault lines, it's not along that one. As I predicted, you were not capable of grasping it.

    You are asking ME why Republicans do the crap they do? The answer will be always the same. Because there is only ONE reason why Republicans do ANYTHING. No... not the good of the country, not to benefit the people... to get themselves reelected!

    You can copy-paste the above to any question to why Republicans do X, and you'll be right about 95% of the time.
