Heat deaths have decreased due to air conditioning in homes.

Cold deaths are always more numerous, due to the sheer number of people living in death zones. There are a lot of people on the equator and in the southern hemisphere, but we don't have many death zones. It's worth noting though, that cold can always be offset, even in Yakutia (coldest inhabited place on earth). But there's a temperature above which you can do nothing to survive, and that's not very much past what we have now. That's the crucial difference.

Still, I'll take a temperate location like ours any day. We do get cold (and snow), but it's -2c kind of cold, and the snow not frequent or heavy. A single wood burning stove is enough to keep a house relatively comfortable. In fact many people don't heat the house overnight. Indoors, under plenty of blankets, you're not going to die at 0c. We really don't need to heat for survival, in other words. If we were unable to heat our homes we'd be uncomfortable, but fine.

 

But, in their defense, they simply don't see behind the propaganda, don't buy the propaganda, and believe what appeals to them.

 

Sarcasm is sometimes needed to paper over the monotony of the propaganda you guys (blind followers of "experts" and authority) faithfully regurgitate.

You won't even attempt to look at and understand the basics.

You don't have to have a pHD or understand the algorithms that are used to generate the "scary scenarios" that you blindly believe in.

Science is about falsification, and falsifying the "scary scenarios" with the actual observations is pretty straight forward.

But you, and all the faithful adherents to the "scary scenarios" religion, have been indoctrinated not to question or challenge your beliefs - and anyone who attempts to challenge your beliefs is to be treated with contempt as a heretic.

Look at the actual observational data that refute the narrative, and then we can have an actual conversation.

But of course you won't/can't do that because your indoctrination prevents you. So we're stuck.

As I said, my problem is that I've never found any AGW advocate who cares enough about science to bother to consider the 10th grade science, but in view of the fact that there are so many good people subscribing to this meme I'm concerned.
