You say you don't want to "loose time" refuting these points, and yet you keep posting in the thread offering no counter proof. Since you're a foreigner who has no clue about politics in America, I'm going to assume you really have nothing to offer.

I understand you're a rookie here, but learn some American history before embarrassing yourself here. A couple of our founders were deists, but the majority of them were God fearing Christians.

LMFAO! Talk about a backwards study. Let's take a look at the respective stereotypes of each side, shall we?

    Conservative - John Wayne

    Liberal - John Lennon

    I rest my case.

Liberals are commonly known to be sensitive, tree-hugging artists while conservatives are the rugged cowboys and warriors. This is what gets them slandered by the libs as "chauvinistic" and "warmongering" and "insensitive."

You're trying to have your cake here and eat it too.

Every one of those is framed from a biased liberal point of view which is intended to paint conservatives into a corner. In other words, these are dishonest premises. It's like asking someone, "Have you ever tasted a better pecker than mine?" There is no right answer because it's a loaded question.

In just about every one of those cases, it's actually the left that is using the government to push their side. Which is consistent with their big government ideology.

Take gay marriage for example. It's the left that wants to expand the scope of government to recognize marriage beyond the current existing definition. Conservatives are simply defending things as they are. Defending the status quo against larger government scope is by definition smaller government. So you can't really make the argument that they're supporting bigger government because it's the left that's trying to make the government do more than what it's currently doing. You're trying to dishonestly pin the big government idea on conservatives to make yourself look like the good guy. And that's wrong. I get that you people like to feel oppressed and you get off on the victim thing. But that doesn't make it true.

Perhaps those are valid observations, but you forgot a few:

If a liberal is doesn't like a drug, he doesn't take it.
If a conservative doesn't like a drug, he wants to make it a Federal crime.

If a liberal dislikes gay people, he doesn't attend a gay wedding.
If a conservative dislikes gay people, he wants to ban all gay weddings.

Neither side of the political spectrum is superior to the other in respect to freedom.

...and if a Liberal OR a Conservative doesn't like what the fascist Israeli regime is doing in occupied Palestinian territories or its atrocities and war crimes, then he or she is forbidden to run for the US congress and must be labeled an anti-semite, Holocasut denier

    which doesn't mean anything.

it was a different kind of society and virtually everyone was in white western cultures.

just ike in many traditional societies today.

people don't question the accepted beliefs of their culture

Conservatism, at its extreme, often shows these traits:

    1. Overt militarism.
    2. Antipathy towards civil & privacy rights.
    3. Persecution of minorities
    4. Nationalism
    5. Corporatism

Unfortunately, the GOP is becoming more extreme. To wit:

    1. Iraq War, Star Wars
    2. The Patriot Act
    3. Anti-gay, anti-Hispanic, anti-Muslim along with race-baiting tactics (Willy Horton, Reverend Wright, etc.)
    4. The American Exceptionalism mantra
    5. Defending financial, oil, and mining industries against needed regulation.

The silly ideas of the Birkenstock-wearing treehuggers start to appear a little more benign when one looks at the hard right swing of the GOP.

I know the answer to this one. One is stupid and the other is smart.

    RUE PAUL for president.

Extreme liberal thinking sucks! Most of we conservatives will point out our conservative leader's imperfections and mistakes, but you libs see nothing wrong with Obama and his ilk as a rule. Conservatives are more fair minded. Libs are at least as guilty of the same things that conservatives are accused of.

This whole thread started out with accusations made against liberals, not conservatives.

Conservatives pointing out their leaders imperfections??? The party of Palin, Bachmann, Santorum, Trump, Fox News and Talk Radio??? Check your meds.:psychoitc:

MSNBC, like CNN and most other liberal news sources, can't make a dent in the national TV ratings.

    blah blah blah ...

when you start saying youlibs this and youlibs that, it effectively means you don't have an argument.

BTW - one of the things that everyone around the globe knows (except apparently US conservatives) is that Obama's ratings drop reflects dissatisfaction among those who supported him.

Yeah sure, God fearing Christians that screwed slaves and had dalliances in Europe. If they were anything like today's conservatives we'd still have a King or Queen.

One of the main differences is that conservatives are willing to use bipartisanship before admiting they're wrong. They'll resort to causing a nation to completely divide and be okay with it. As long as they keep thinking they're right.

    This is the real difference:

Liberals and Moderates believe you should be the best and the brightest to be president.

Conservatives see no reason Palin is not qualified?

Liberals and Moderates believe that there should be a seperation of church and state.

Conservatives want all laws based on their personal religion.

Liberals and Moderates believe that there should be a balanced budget.

Conservatives believe that everything they don't like should be out of the budget, but corporate welfare, military spending and religious spending should be unlimited. If there is a deficit - tax the poor and middle class.

Liberals and Moderates believe that blaming yourself is the first place to start if you do not have what you want in life.

Conservatives believe there are always others to blame for every possible issue and will accept no responsibility for anything ever.

Here's the difference between a neo-con progressive and a classic liberal.
